anyone have any config settings to set my wow instances to run below in-game settings? at times i have 6-7 accounts open at once and it starts getting very laggy.
Turn off all addons and turn down graphics all the way, you can manualy resize the windows further than what wow allows as well. Also be sure to set affinity(have been told this helps but I dont notice anything with 1 bot running) To do this press ctrl+shit+escape then goto processes and right click Wow.exe and select set affinity. I set mine to CPU 0 but u may want to mix it up with so many accounts running. Also close down all nonessential programs, not just Firefox. When I used to multibot (back in the glider days) I would close everything I could except anti-virus and wow Hope this helps
reduce the fps each client can use to 13fps Code: /console maxfps 13 /console maxfpsbk 10 this will significantly reduce the usage of your videocard and cpu.
You can try this 2 Macros Code: Macro1: /console groundEffectDensity 16 /console groundEffectDist 1 /console detailDoodadAlpha 1 /console horizonfarclip 1305 /console farclip 177 /console characterambient 0 /console maxfps 15 /console smallcull 0 /console skycloudlod 1 Code: Makro2: /console lod 1 /console lodDist 50 /console mapShadows 0 /console anisotropic 1 /console fullAlpha 0 /console MaxLights 1 /console gxVSync 0 /console frillDensity 1 /console specular 0 /console pixelShaders 0 /console maxfpsbk 10
Either that or keep 2 WoW's... 1 for botting, 1 for playing. BTW wow works fine for botting from an external hdd
Get a better computer Possible to run 20x clients highest quality no lag on my 4000$ alienware computer.
Now thats stupidity. Payed 2,5k dollars for my comp and i run 25 wow clients. Alienware are way too expensive for what they offer
I had an Alienware.. Yeah it looked nice but it was WAY to big and fat for something under a desk. Sure the quality was good.. But my asus gaming laptop does better
Why in the hell would you buy an alienware, you must be idiotic. 2,300$ on parts, and 1,700$ for a shiny alienware logo.
Haha, i laugh SO much when i see people like you. You think you are cool because you bought an overrated computer for 4000$, and then you even brag about it. I bought mine for 1000$ and I multiboxed 10 account at a private server once at 1600x1000 with 60fps, without shadows though. (Im not bragging, just telling you that 4000$ Alienware is for teh lulz) - I dont even believe that you ran 20 accounts with highest quality at 30+fps. @ OP I think using the macros described and turning off sound ingame will help
thanks for the replies, i do keep 2 seperate installs for wow. one for playing and one for botting. i dont need to upgrade really.... my cpu could use an upgrade but i should be able to run 5+ clients alot more smoothly. i will try the fps config setting and those macros and report back athlon x2 3.0 ghz 4gb ddr2800 his hd 4870 1gb tons of hd space
Add in a few more gigs of RAM and replace the GPU and CPU as needed...probably around few hundred dollar investment, but will serve you well in the long run
