I am running multiple SWTORs via ISBoxer But after attaching and running multiple BWs one of them falls into a loop which brings the process to 1gb ram usage in 1 min and the log file is spammed with this stuff 65mb in 1 minute Code: [20:11:05.811 E] Response has 15 hops. Converting to vectors and path queue. [20:11:05.811 D] Nav Service path generated. [20:11:05.811 D] Generated path to <83.1171, 3.394723, 37.3564> (Vendor) with 15 hops. HLL Dictionary spam from here on ... I've set different core affinities to all the process Edit: Maybe its possible cuz of Kick's leveling profile 1-10 ?
I actually get this problem occasionally on ONE of my computers (the one with the least amount of RAM, running XP) semi-regularly. Still haven't figured out what causes it. Seems to happen more often on Corellia.
this also happened today when i had only 1 ISBoxer SWTOR instance running and 1 BW running. I guess it starts the game differently than the launcher.exe Anyone has any feedback on how to make this work with ISBoxer multiple SWTORs and BWs? Or any other guide for multibotting SWTOR (without VMs)
Yes, Kick already did this years ago Do a forum search... Default [Guide] -Running Multiple SWTOR Accounts - Isboxer (Innerspace) and your bots [Kick] ***Do note*** This is not an advertisement! It is not required to use this 'extra' software with our bots! Now, to the good stuff: Isboxer/Innerspace pricing is avail here: Multiboxing software and PC gaming utilities - Lavish Software Multiboxing software and PC gaming utilities - Lavish Software I haven't fiddled with wow/hb and innerspace, but it should be the same as SWToR / D3 to setup 1) Get an account for Innerspace 2) Install the software 3) Launch Innerspace and Isboxer and login 4) Right click Innerspace from taskbar --> Add Game 5) Name - Game Name (D3, D3 bots, SWToR, SWToR Bots, whatever you want to nickname it) Game executable - target your game or launcher (c:\program files\d3 or swtor, etc\launcher.exe) Paramaters - leave this blank Click OK 6) Go to Isboxer - Click Wizards --> Quick Setup Wizard 7) Select your game from the 2 drop downs, select the game's default profile 8) Actual Character Name - This isn't required, I call mine SWToR 1, D3 1; name them whatever you like Display As - same as above Add as many of these as you like (I recommend 1, 4, 9, 16, 25) If you want the bot screen even smaller, you can use the 'leave space' option, or you can just add more bot #'s... Just minimize the last launcher launched after all of your accounts are logged in. 9) Choose a Name for your team; I call mine SWToR 9 / D3 9 10) Select your window layout - I recommend one that uses an alternate monitor; if you want to select a different monitor, find 'use monitors' and change it to a different monitor for default Enable Swapping: FALSE Instant Swapping: FALSE 11) Select background / foreground fps; i use 12 background and 20 foreground Misc - leave these at default unless you know what you're doing 12) Leave the 2 tickboxes as default; press finish 13) VERY IMPORTANT - after you make this profile: On Isboxer - File --> Export All to Innerspace Bam, you're done You can now right click innerspace and launch your character sets. You can also (for convenience) make a shortcut to the desktop for your character set - Isboxer - Character Sets - right click on your character set and Create Desktop Launch Shortcut No pictures for now If you use DXTory - turn it off when using Innerspace/Isboxer All credits go to Kick See the Original Here @ http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...tml#post592524
yeah i am not new to isboxer, i used it before for D3. Basicaly i did this -> SWTOR:HOWTO Launch multiple instances - ISBoxer which is the same It launches 2 instances, but the BW has problems in this instances for me. BW starts taking up ram to 1GB in about 5minutes and then this dictionary errors, even if i run only 1 instance. If i normaly run SWTOR + BW it runs ok, but not with ISBoxer. I wanna level another toons simultaneously
Cool. Maybe there are other users that like this info too, so not all is lost TBH I have not noticed the same issues with Isboxer/Innerspace, but I use Ama's Pure with my slaves and main toon when I multibox. Biggest problem I found is that BW does not always attach correctly, and we cannot manually tell it which PID to use which kinda sucks. Ugh so sorry I can be of not assistance to you but at least I TRIED
every help is appreciated. maybe you helped someone else yeah i found that BW attaching pain also :/ DemonBuddy has PID selection before attaching
i am trying everday with this ixboxer, tried the latest one, still same issues, as soon as i start 2 BWs one starts taking up RAM and the bot is on hold. I am trying everything with isboxer core afinities and task bar core affinities. Pure or Walters routine, it doesn't really matter. still no solutions? I bought 3 session keys which id like to work, i am even willing to pay for isboxer if this would work :/
I've found that VMWare Workstation works pretty well for each game and BW instance. I've never used ISBoxer. Good luck!
Really? i might try that out! what PC specs you have? and how many instance do you run with it? How much CPU / RAM is taken / free ?
I think we have similar systems (i7, 16GB RAM, etc). With your set-up, two should run smoothly, and three will run if you're careful not to tax the system with other processes at the same time. I usually just keep two up on this computer so that I can watch movies and run a few other programs without too many issues. I give each VM 2 processors and 2 cores (4 total) + 3 GB RAM, running each on Win 7 x86, if that helps.
So you have tried round robin(is that default)??? Just what I use :S. Just seems kinda crazy why it wouldn't work correctly. I don't even have to set my graphics on low either. Runs on medium just fine. I am going to get back to you with some sorta an answer later. Going to dig into this a bit why it wouldn't work for you.
My fix? I have 4 PC's running at the same time, yes its a issue having to check each one but they are all in the same room so not a huge deal. I check my grind bots once and hour and play my main by hand. I know it may sound a bit expensive but it is a much simple way than running software to multibox. Go onto Dell and they have Alienware systems for less than $500. My only complaint is that this room is gets very hot even with the AC on
its winter in aust, but my gaming area in the house is summer bad constant sweating , i wonder if monitors pump out radiation lol
