Hey guys, I'm moving back stateside and i'm selling most of my 22-24" monitors and I want new LED Backlit 27-32" monitors for when I get back stateside in a week

Can you guys recommend any monitors that are worth a damn, 1920x1080 or higher and aren't $500? I am thinking 200-300 each ... lookin at getting 3 of them, maybe 5 or 6

I am not interested in tv's... they must be true monitors

      Thanks,
      Kick

      I bought this just recently:

LG E2242C-BN LED LCD 21.5" VGA

      Supports 1920x1080

Don't know if it's what you're looking for but i'd say it's very good for its price.

      hey kickass

you will be fine using the asus monitor you posted. it seams this is currently one of the best gaming monitor out there. and over 27" all real monitors are too expensive.

I've never had good luck with a tv doubling as a monitor. Ignore the bulkiness of it - they flicker a lot when you're 2-3 feet away and they generally have bigger and noisier components (I can sometimes hear the capacitors charging when i'm near a tv)

I use a three of ASUS VS248H-P - 24" and they are amazing. I have tried Samsung, ViewSonic, Acer and LG, but all of them had some issue that just pissed me off... Only issue with the Asus is have to turn down the Brightness...

      Hey.

Not that you asked for it, but I can recommend projectors..

Pretty big, and nice to lay around on the sofa while doing something.. (falling asleep)

Asus projectors are pretty decent and cheap as well. Think about it. Get a monitor for 300-400$ or a projector for the same..

I go for the bigger one

      Regards

I will get a projector for my movie setup, but these monitors are for gaming and developing. Projectors aren't the greatest thing for reading text all day long ;)

Search Hans-G monitors on Newegg. Great monitors in varies sizes with a great price. I have a 27.5" inch and its been kicking for 4 years, no problems.
