So I just figured *what the hell* and not I owe 5 bots. I want to ask, how "safe" it would be to let them do 5 mans dungeons togeather. I know there is nothing as 100% safe, but how would you go about keeping them safe as for botting goes? thanks.
Don't group with any other players. Just form your own all-bot team and run dungeonbuddy. I've been doing this for a while now while trying to fix some of the scripting issues. So be aware there are still issues with some dungeons that will require some manual movement. If you come across any problems, post them in the dungeonbuddy thread with a full log. No dev (or enthusiastic amateur such as myself) can resolve a problem unless they can see exactly what the problem is. That means a clear description and a log. If you're running a full bot team, zip up the logs of all your toons together.
Great advice, i will be sure to do so! But on a scale from 1-10 how safe would you rate it? Like, could you go 5-but-team dungeon runs from 20-90? Would that seems strange to Blizz and que one for investegating. Also is there a guide on how to set up the bot when using 5 both togeather?
Blizzard is fine with multiboxing, so it wouldn't inherently get you banned. Powerleveling is suspicious though in these grinding forms though, id rate it a 7 on the safety scale. Blizzard typically acts on player reports, which is hard to find if it's just you and your bots. As for guides thats more complicated, as the bot isn't great at this kind of thing. I'm almost completely sure there's a way to make them all at least somewhat work in this fashion, but it's beyond my field of expertise.
Bah, just make sure your combat routines are up to spec and set up your botbase like this: Advanced Custom Scripts Path - (point this to a folder where you can store custom scripts, Honorbuddy\DBCustom would work) Tank In Random Groups - FALSE - VERY BAD IF TRUE (this would group you with non-bots) Use FrameLock - True Loot Loot Mode - Always Mail BoE items - True Maximum Vendor Item Quaility - Poor (sells greys) Minimum Mail Item Quality - Common (mails everything else) ** Note: my bot group includes a disenchanter so I don't accumulate lots of BoP blue gear. If your group does not, I'd recommend setting Vendor Item Quality to include blues otherwise your bags will fill very quickly. This is also a good setting if you want cash over enchanting mats. Misc Combat Movement - True (for healers only, to move to LoS if needed, I tend to leave as false for dps classes) Following Distance - 20 Hearth on Vendor run - False (if your toons are parked by a mailbox/repair vendor, true otherwise) Kill Optional Bosses - True Pickup Quests - True (many quests are automated, some may require some manual input - the second sword in Scarlet Monastery in particular) Port Outside On Ghost Sighting - False Party (this is the important bit) Leader Name - set this to your tank toon's name. Leave blank on the tank. Party Member Names - on your tank only, click the ... and enter your healer and dps toons' names, one on each line. Leave blank on healer and dps. Party Mode - set this to Leader on the tank, set to Follower on healer and dps toons. Vender Inside Instance Repair % - 10 Minimum Free Bag Slots - 3 Outside Instance Repair % - 50 Outside Instance Sell % - 25 Port Out To Buy - False Port Out To Sell - False Most settings are your choice, just pay attention to the Party selections. Those are important. Make sure AutoEquip is enabled and properly set up, especially if you have an enchanter. Make sure your combat routines have movement/facing enabled. Make sure your combat routines have targeting disabled. Have fun.
Thank you so much for your respons. I would also like ask if anyone knows if its possible to make them farm togeather? Like if you want to hunt for elites or do grup quests togeather
DungeonBuddy is only intended for dungeons. For outside world, I'd suggest looking at Fpsware's LazyBoxer.
any chance you could tell me how to get it to farm low level dungeons? Or redirect me to where i may learn it? I've searched the forums without finding any info on this :/
I'm not aware of how to set up DungeonBuddy for farming lower level instances. I know Highvoltz intended that functionality for it but I'm not sure if it has actually been implemented. Your best bet would be a questbot based dungeon farming profile. I think Botanist is the dev to investigate for that one. Try here for starters: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/submitted-profiles/128297-botanists-solstice.html
the red part i highlighted. Make sure that HB framelock is off if you have DB framelock on or expect random large spikes and FPS drops. Especially running multiple accounts.
DungeonBuddy stuck a lot, It tooks me 3days of /played for 1-80. Try this : http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/success-stories/138469-25-5-hours-5-level-85s-power-raf-dungeoning.html It tooks him 1day of /played for leveling 1-85
