Grind on good paths? Depends what you are. Horde I used the 1-60 new map path, it will show you a picture of the path with a yellow line in the way it moves, that path ran very good. After 1-60 I would normally quest on my own. I dont mind leveling manually once in a while but if your horde defiantly try that path. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...1-60/13594-1-60-horde-new-world-kalimdor.html
if questing were completely bugless i would say a solid questing profile is the best way to go. only problem is that there are still some bugs and most profiles are not fully completed yet. In the near future though when it is full workable i would say questing all the way it seems to net the most xp per hour when running smoothly by quite a bit. As of now i would stick to a good grinding profile for the fastest but if you dont wanna keep checking ah for gear every few levels i would say run grind + instancebuddy. unless you have the ability to manual turn in a few quests or watch (somewhat) a good questing profile and help it when it needs help. just my 2 cents and hope it helps! Also if it helps liferose's 1-60 horde questing is pretty good until about level 15 and i will be releasing a 1-60 horde questing that is fairly bugless in a day or two so watch for the post!
Well a good questing profile will always be faster, but is currently a bit buggy and needs some babysitting. Instances are dangerous in some cases and probably shouldnt be afk. Grinding is most reliable but has a higher chance of being reported than quest bot.
Been leveling with Kick's profile on my Human Paladin been doing just fine grinding, just trying to find out if there is a faster way
Been leveling with Kaz human profile (leveled a dwarf to 5 and took out the human specific quest code) and it is working awesome.
I have been doing mixed mode. Grind while queue for pvp. That way ever 10 lvls can get new pvp set. Basically free gear. And ur not seen in one area for hours on end, because of the pvp. Its not fastest. But I prefer safe over fast.
Atm I'm getting 70k xp/hour with my lvl 47 pally doing Mixed Mode only que'ing AV. I think once you get to the AV bracket mixed mode becomes faster Anybody else noticed this?
To all those saying instancebuddy, what role is 'ace' to you? I have so far only tried healing in which it was AMAZING (level 70).
Instancebuddy has been the fastest XP/hour when the ques are short, but it's not fully AFKable. For fully AFK, mixed mode works well enough. I like to healbot in BGs, hopefully the next release has the new BG logic in mixed mode.
Nice. I am a healer, and currently level 34. I'm a Dranei Shaman. What class were you? I'm finding being a healer is great. Some minor bugs like auto run into random group of mobs, randomly stop working etc but over all it plays 'almost' as good as me ;-)
Definitely wouldn't consider being spotted by 9-14 other ppl in a BG as being more safe. I dont pvp for the very reason of so many eyes on my bot at all times.
well, i've done a little bit of grinding, a little bit of pvp, a little bit of instancing, and i'm really a fan of the instance buddy... especially on my disc priest, ungodly almost, but the xp is decent, love getting the txt from whispers while i'm off at work saying nice heals and such, as for the pvp i haven't gotten into it as much at low levels simply because it's a bit buggy for me, though av weekend is upon us soooo... mix it with a nice 1-60 profile for the time being for my hordeys new world kalimdor/botanists 1-60 on my alliance toons and then the occasional profession profile if they fall behind any while i'm off doing other things
Currently Level 51 Druid. Im averaging about 160k/hour doing mixed mode Grind + Queue for AV. One AV win nets around 65k XP, and queue times are 3 min. (it is AV weekend). Mixed is definately the way to go once u can get AV. I only run InstanceBuddy to gear up.
GRIND GRIND AND GRIND SOME MORE. WHY? AFK-able, no need for gear, it gears itself with autoequip. Get a guild with 10% bonus xp, join and grind. No need for instances at low lvl, no need for pvp and questing is still buggy and not afk-able. grind is the best way to lvl fast atm. little xp but its fast xp + bonus 10% = lots of xp
Well, I'm on level 11 on Kaz's quest path, and it's pretty legit. The only errors so far were quests that didn't exist anymore earlier on, but so far it's been great, and definitely faster than grinding would have been so far and I've been able to afk just fine. I think I will give AV a try though when I get high enough.
