Dont, since it is smarter, it is also going to fail more, not because of bugs or anything, but, because it goes to a flag and stays defending and stupid ppl report you AFK and you get booted out plus 15min deserter... (happens once every 2 BGs or half the time if you want to put it that way) Would be cool if you could make BGbot not defend, but, thats PVP bot.
bg bot smarter... LOL it goes where the rest is... LOL it goes to flag etc.... LOL its just following a click to move path... nothing else. bg bot is as pathetic as pvp bot is... but before this gets into another QQ thread... no one cares... cause no one is fixing the bg shit... its pathetic... and so obvious people are using it in bg...
I like it when I see my bot running in AV, then stopping at the same spot as 5-7 other people, and we all stand there in a bunch for 2 minutes until we all start running again, Makes me wonder if they also bot xD..
i find BG Bot to be very poor. It stands around a lot and does nothing. I always use PVP bot with w00t's profiles. Work perfectly.
no offense to HB or the people who wrote the profiles, but both PvP and BG Bot suck at the moment. Since the last release of HB, u can no longer solo que for a specific BG, its ONLY RANDOM. So on AV weekend when u can be making 3x the honor/XP and 10x more likely to win (atleast on my server), your stuck queing for all the BGs that we lose 80% of the time with a small chance of getting AV. Also both bots just run their own course, including going to the horde GYs as ally solo and getting raped while the bot tried to heal through 5+ horde. The only plugin that helps this is SimpleFollow, which ALSO isnt working properly with the new HB release and refuses to enter combat. Even when attacked it tried to run away rather then heal or fight. The PvP and BG Bot are the best features of this program, and it sucks that as soon as I join the #1 features are now not working well at all. Sorry, just bugged that I spent $40 and cant use it for what I want to use it for. I did manage to get the Archeology mounts, but that's just a vanity item.
PvP bot with woots profiles and squire plugin is working really well for me on healers and ranged dps . Just make sure you dont set the follow distance to less than 25 , cos I am seeing more and more people being called out in bgs as a follow bot . I've been q'ing for SOTA with PVP and BG bot all weekend. No problems. They have different courses and logic. You have to run both on a BG to see which one you like more.
Hmmm, since I reinstalled the new HB, all the BGs including "random" is greyed out and Random is selected, it wont let me change anything. Im doing this while the bot is NOT running, dunno why I cant change it. Just DL'ed Squire, last time I used it I thought it was a little funny. But since SimpleFollow refuses to get in combat, I guess it cant hurt Edit: I have been running with wOOtz bg profiles as well. Forsome reason both profiles with out a follow plugin wanted to keep swimming through the water next to the bridges rather then walk over the bridge.
Many times when I check to see what PvP bot is doing, its stuck on something or mounted and going somewhere & that somewhere never seems to be anywhere useful. 99% of the time I use bg bot - never been reported far as I know & I run it all weekend every weekend (not necessarily in the CTA bg though).
Sota all weekend. Bot standing there, in front of gate or just in open field... every time. waiting... for something to come along and get in range... you know the funny part 2-3 every bg are following me.... SO obvious who is botting... do something about that ffs... like i said many times be4... HB STARTED AS A PVP BOT its a effin joke now!
the hell is up with that logic... at start, bot runs off and waits at 2nd gate.... why not to the beach, like everyone else.... then it runs to the first gate, and stands on top of it... next to the cannon... why not run to the beach like everyone else.... then it runs to the beach after they breached the first gate, and are going for 2nd... i mean, beach ... now... in the end... why not follow the rest -.- bg logic is just far to see, but hey... you always said sota was not fully compatible eh? might want to fix it after the 700th QQ post? Or just close your eyes like blizzard does?
I always use BGbot have had no problems with reports. All my toons are geared with Season 10 PvP gear and have all the Justice gear. I used the BG points and converted them for the justice. All in all it's working great for me. Oh and I have 8 lvl 85 toons.
They both fuckin suck, as u can tell the closer we get to our court date the less attention HB gets in general, if u have half a brain u can tell a bot from the start XD its gettin far worse ull see 4 bots stacking with the same route and making ur bot turns its gettin nasty i have yet to do much shoppin around but if anyone has a site that is active on there updates and still goin strong would ya mind PM'ing me a link plz tyvm in advance
