I have just lost ALL of my accounts, even the non-botted ones

In the last hour I have lost ALL of my accounts (11 accounts), that includes my non-botted main accounts and interestingly, some of them have not been active for over six months.

I received the same email for each and every account:
Account Closure Notification -- Exploitative Activity Found

I can accept the fact my farming accounts were banned as that is the nature of what I do but I cannot accept my non-botted inactive (six months) accounts.


UPDATE:

Last night I called the support line and spoke to a very helpful guy at Blizard. Unfortunately he was unable to help me at the time but was able to provide some interesting information. As the guy on the phone was only able to deal with general enquiries.

But what he did tell me is that it was identified as a "genuine strike". And he explained that by saying a person, not an automated system, visually observed the accounts in question using third-party software. If it had have been an automated ban he would have been able to reverse it instantly.

So this morning I wake to an email saying that my ban has been thoroughly investigated and has been overturned to a 72 hours suspension. But, reading up further I have another email from Blizzard stating the previous response was mistake and the ban will remain in place.

As it stands right now I have lost 11 accounts in total, a few of these were not associated by contact information or payment details as they were given to me awhile ago by friends who no longer play the game. I'm not concerned that my farming/botting accounts were banned, as that is the nature of what we do and from time to time bans are expected. What I am extremely pissed off with is the banning of my non-botted main accounts.

i know exactly how you feel. even tho you know it, it hurts to lose them. every year i'm losing like 20-40 accounts on feb. this is the saddest time in the year for me, tho i'm prepared for it. i hope it doesn't affect your work on farmer joe man.

Did you have multiple accounts, this ban looks like it's aim at people with over 5 accounts.

I think blizzard is doing a clean up before blizzcon.

Wonderful if we can get a confirm if its bans for people with many accounts or what not ( would be nice finding out what triggers the bans)

Could you tell us how much you did bot and what bot profiles you were using?

Have you been using ***?

Your non botted account, was it linked in any way to your botting accounts ? Same mail/similar mails or same Personal names in the personal info?


Just want to see how they have targeted your non botting account ( so others can avoid it)

 

I guess this clearly states that LCP isn't being used, as you were using farmer joe etc

 

If you really want to know whether LCP is used, someone needs to get a level 90 account, unlearn mining/herb(rather than just disable) and fly a public very used profile for varied lengths of time. There would be absolutely no chance of player reports if you never go for a node.

Never so much as a warning, all of my accounts at the same time.
Funny that my primary account got closed and I haven't used any botting oni it in almost 2 weeks, as I've been working on all my leveling stuff lately

 

Hmm could this be a ban linked with the Name Holder of the account?
I would very much love if FPSWARE and BOTANIST can tell if they use the same name on all their accounts? Oh are you on US or EU?
Other than that maybe hardware ID ban? Is blizzard even looking at that sort of thing? IP ban is out of the question...imagine a big ass university being hit.

I am kind of worried because FPSWERE is using gathering and BOTANIST is famous for his fungeon farming. That are two very different things.

That said i am not banned for now, but i started like 2-3 days ago...unless they hit 1 of my old accounts that i resurrected and link the rest to him.

maybe they have done this to detect you on the forum ? ban, overtune and ban again. In your place i will not talk about these details ^^ just to cover future accounts

 

Sorry to hear this. No one likes losing a non bot account.

It sounds like they were watching log in times (you stated earlier you bot for hours) and then did a IP or MAC search and banned all accounts associated. If you get another account or decide to start again change your IP and MAC.

I would have the exact opposite reaction to my non botting accounts getting banned. I would go full bore with a bot release just to payback, but I'm a vengeful person.

 

Fpsware, I'm very sorry to hear this. I'd go fucking apeshit ballistic if I lost my 'main' unbotted accounts. That shit aint got no right happening.

The same thing happens to on february. They closed all of my accounts with similar email names like name12, name13.....even those wo hadn't gametime since months. It was a gm investigation because the mail come from woweugm@bli....

 

This seems like a targeted hit on high-profile HB devs. Which is a troubling news since it seems Blizz can identify, pick and choose whom to ban.

 

I think when they ban more than 5 accounts, they really need to be sure so they observe you and maybe even teleport you on one account to see your response since they're losing quite a bit of revenue when banning you so they have to be sure.

 

they dont care they no we will all start up new accounts farmers just got and set up again win win for blizz long term players start up again they get money from games and gametime i have a friend who lost 24 accounts 12 banned and a week later 12 again and guess what he went again..

it is funny how its all the best HB devs that are being hit coincidence????
