Delete your current hunter folder if you used a previous version, and unpack the new one in your routines folder. Possible to auto update to the latest version via the GUI. I added the option to tune Arcane Shot. Play with the focus settings if you see that you reach the max focus or that you need to recast SS before CS refresh it.

Nice routine. Is it me or am I missing freezing and ice trap here, since this is required for Lock n Load procs which is crutial for a survival hunter. Other then that very nice routine
You have explosive trap Welcome to patch 5.4.0, they remove the proc lock and load from traps together with the global cooldown from Black Arrow with the traps
Well thats funny cause then the tooltip has not changed yet since it still says ICE and FREEZING trap Also when I check the patch notes, I noticed this : "Explosive Trap no longer shares a cooldown with Black Arrow but can no longer activate Lock and Load." source = 5.4 PTR Patch Notes - September 4 - World of Warcraft And I do not see LnL procs if I don't use ICE or FREEZING so ... please advice if I'm wrong here !
Euuhm 100% chance on ice and freezing traps, 20% on black arrow ... It's probably me though since I have never played survival hunter that much, but I'm just reading what the tooltip states. So I am wrong then right ? Either that or I'm clueless.
I just read the following on ICY-VEINS : Note that Lock and Load Icon Lock and Load also procs each time you trap a target with Ice Trap Icon Ice Trap or Freezing Trap Icon Freezing Trap. You can make use of this by placing an Ice Trap at the location where the boss will spawn/become active/be pulled, if the encounter allows. As long as you are able to do this before combat starts, then you will have a guaranteed Lock and Load at no cost whatsoever. This strategy is not worth using during combat, since it is not worth the global cooldown (and Black Arrow Icon Black Arrow procs Lock and Load quite reliably anyway). -- So I guess your rotation is good, and I'm just very unlucky with LnL procs from Black Arrow I guess, i'll watch it more closely. Sorry for my ignorance I'm trying to understand Survival hunter better.
Hey ice or freezing trap does give LnL. But no longer a dps increase. You have to use it before the fight starts to have slight dps gain. Edit. Didn't realize you answered yourself ;D
Hey Pasterke, you might want to check the BM routine, seems like kill command is hardly been used and dire beast doesn't seem to be working.
Works well for me. Great CR, could use some tweaking, i was doing more dps with other CRs, i don't know hunters well enough to be able to tell you what to tweak. Oh and if you want me to Photoshop a banner together for you, for the thread, let me know.
When I use BM, he use Kill Command on cooldown (ofc if enough focus). Dire Beast also used on Cooldown.
Thanks Pasterke I figured out why now silly me. disclaimer you got to update adds to start aoe greater then 0 or the routine wont go through the "proper rotation"
Before using a CR, always look at the settings BTW, if you look at the logs in HB window, you will see what he's using. Lightblue color = aoe
