HORDE EDITION Alliance version here : [A][Q] Flightpath-o-Matic Get all FP's I was tired of getting Flightpaths on all my characters, so I wrote these profiles.. I only have one Horde char that I can test these on, but it seemed to work flawlessly. Please let me know if you find any missing flightpaths or any errors in the code. Most profiles take at least an hour to run, and if you have to stop in the middle, it will start over. (Sorry, I asked if there was a way to detect if a FP was already known, apparently there isn't) These profiles WILL NOT get any "phased" flight paths or any flight paths that require a quest to do (IE: Scholozar Basin) All profiles make use of Azyul's Universal Navigation Snips found here : Universal Navigation Snips (the work EchoTiger has done is AMAZING, thank you so much for this!) Got the following message when running Pandaria Flight Paths that says: And then Honorbuddy stops. Haven't tested any others yet, as my main toon I'm working on right now is questing in Pandaria, that would be the most useful currently.
Thanks, that got things working. Ran into an unexpected error because my toon can't yet fly in Pandaria. So maybe just something worth noting, that you need flying in the flyable areas in order to get all of the Flight Paths. It did grab 4 or 5 FP's as far as I can tell (already had some, so I'm not sure exact count) before throwing that error.
ya it says in the original post that you need to be able to fly in the relevant zone.. I'm not sure a walking version would be needed since you would have to be max level to run through all the zones without dying and by max level, you can fly...
My apologies, I missed that. Makes sense, and I agree, it's not worth the effort for a walking version. Still very useful. Although I'm questioning the value of FP's now that I have a character with master riding. Pointing him in a straight direction on a flying mount is faster than using the FP's that meander all over the place.
yes, i know what you mean about pointing and going but sometimes you want to afk while you're getting somewhere or you're doing other things and it's just easier to jump on a flightpath... this is really made for people who dungeon bot to level since if you quest level, you'll have the majority of these already...
I was wondering if you had a profile for flight paths in draenor? Would be interested if you did thanks
I'll second this. Obviously, with this expansion, Draenor FPs would be huge. Especially if you bot your way to 100, you're unlikely to have picked them all up.
Hey AtG68, I came across your profiles on Echos page and decided to go crazy and add a new feature. I basically put an <If> around every FP so it will check to see if you have the FP before going. I have only added this to the Kalimdor profile as of now but will do all of them on Horde side. I don't have any toons to test this out on either :-( so I'm not sure if it's gonna work well. I also removed all that Nav code you put in and just replaced it w/ a remoteload cuz I hate bulky code, and I love the remote load feature I also removed the hearth at the end of the profile because my intent is to chain these all together so you just load one and it runs it and loads the next continent, then add a hearth at the end. Oh, and I also noticed Moonglade was missing in the Kalimdor profile, although I haven't added it yet. Please let me know what you think! Oh, and I don't see a way to upload a profile on this reply box so I'll just paste it here. Maybe I'll make a new thread as well. You need to register and have one post to see spoilers!
