Wont loot questmobs after fresh install.

Hi.

After I've installed the new 562 version of HB (fresh install, no plugins or anything) it gets stuck doing the quest "The Meat They'll Eat" - it will kill the questmobs, but it will just continue to do so and not loot them (for the quest items).

Manually did the quest now, it loots mobs that I dont need any questitems from... Odd.

EDIT: Added new log file, has the same problem where it wont loot any quest mobs for the quest items "yellow and red make orange" ...
Will just mount up and run around at the questplace but not target, loot or kill anything that hasnt aggroed the bot. If a quest mob aggroes, it will kill it but not loot the quest item(s).

 

I see that I'm one of the only ones that have reported this which makes me think that it is an issue on my end.
Anyone?

 

Yes, it is. It will loot normal mobs (non-quest ones).

Added new log file to this post, doing the exact same thing with new build 557 x( (clean install, everything set up correctly in bot settings and wow).

 

Sounds like you didn't update Kicks' profiles or drop the quest behaviors into the folder.

That is the code for the quest and it looks correct.

 

Kicks profiles are updated (SVN updated and everything).

However, if I try to replace quest behaviors with kicks quest behaviors, I will get the issue where it just picks up a quest and then tries to pick it up again 2 seconds later (same problem another guy had).

Looking through your logs I don't believe this is the current version of HB is it? Mine currently says it's 563.

Happens only with kicks behaviours replaced w/ original quest behaviors... And yes, kicks profiles are updated.

 

The 557 one? I have that one. 557 was previously 563. Got the newest from bot downloads page.

Well, if replace quest behaviors with kicks quest behaviors (drag and drop into hb folder, replace with hb qb), it will get stuck on my latest log (picks up quest repeatedly). But if I dont replace it, it will not loot quest mobs at all (will just run around in the hotspots over and over again, not looting, killing or targeting anything that hasnt aggroed the bot already. Wont even loot the quest mob even if it kills it.

 

Alright, starting to get really tired of making new installs 24/7, literally have done nothing but tried to fix hb the last 2 days.
I guess I'll play by myself until a real fix has been pushed out.

I understand the dev team is working on it as hard as they can, no hard feelings.
I'm not entirely sure if it has something to do with my install, but I really doubt it.
I have done: 35~ new installs, deleted cache of wow and hb, updated to latest kicks profiles with SVN multiple times, tried different versions of hb (557, 555, 560, 561, 563), replacing qb with kicks qb, tried not replacing too, made sure wow is running directx9 32-bit, made sure every required installations for hb to work is up-to-date, made sure hb settings are 100% correct for questing, etc.

 

I really hope you're kidding.
Unless you released a new version, whats the chance of it actually working now than the other 40 times that I've tried?

And by the 40 installations that I've already made I have done following:

Deleted everything from previous install, EVERYTHING.
Download .rar (newest release).
Install it in a NEW FOLDER in a new directory.
ONLY download kicks profiles from his SVN from scratch into NEW folder (didnt copy/paste ANYTHING from previous folder). Even did a CCleaner run before running (lol).

I manually did the quest, it is running fine at the moment but seems it has problems with choosing quest rewards at some quests (couldnt find it or something, will post log later if it keeps happening).
Also had a problem with bot stopping with a error in the behaviours... But yeah

 

Thanks for your help, Tony. It seems that it is working fine (had it running overnight, no problems). There was no way around those two buggy quests I mentioned in the start of the thread though, so I manually did those and no problems during 86-89.
