I am looking for a way to make the bot not fly so low to the ground while moving (using quest bot). It looks rather bottish to me to see a player flying 3 feet off the ground while moving around from place to place. Is there a Plugin to address this or is there a setting I can modify? I"m using questbot / Kick's LK profiles.

      Thank you!

      Hi, Ez101,

What you're describing isn't actually intentional flying. Kick's profiles only fly between particular points (i.e., quest hub to quest hub), and then only later in Northrend--not the early zones.

What you are observing is it sounds like you've learned flying early, and your toon is 'flying' when it steps of a small hill or rise, and the ground gives way below. You probably 'land' and start walking as soon as the terrain once again catches up to the feet of the mount.

If this is what you are observing, then its completely accidental. There used to be a couple of plugins that would 'push the flying mount further into the air', so it would kinda fly like you observe, but at a higher (10-15 foot) level. Examples include EzFly and LetMeFly . Alas, these plugins no longer work since the Honorbuddy rewrite.

Built-in native flying (while questing and grinding) is more than two years overdue imho. But, it looks like they're finally giving this some consideration. As, there is now a setting in the Honorbuddy Settings & Tools tab: "Enable Native Flying (beta)". You might try turning this on, and see if it does more of what you want. My understanding is not all continents are supported with native flying yet, but the grapevine says it will be 'turned on' within a couple of months. I won't hold my breath for that, tho. :)

      cheers,
      chinajade

EDIT 1: It looks like a Community member has updated EzFly to work with the .521+ Honorbuddy drops. Thanks, Wuvluv!

CJ, Thanks for the reply. I did learn cold weather flying and came to Northrend at lvl 68 and is currently in the Borean Tundra. Sounds like you are exactly right as to why it is moving that way.

I have seen the "native flying" tab, but thought perhaps it meant using a druid's special flight form and I've never tried it.

As far as i know, Native is for example Warlocks and Paladins (which get's they own mount at level 20).
Can't remember who i heared that from, or where. I was also "positive" that it would be a feature for flying, just not when questing.

And for your question, i asked about EzFly, and i got it :) A helpsome hand updated the plugin for us.

(Remember to make a folder called EzFly and put in EzFly.cs in there :)

Works in the latest release (.521) as of today :)
      Hope this helped

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see that you didn't want the low altitude.. I can see if it's an easy change, then i can update it for the community :)
