This plugin will add a new functionality to the standard ground navigation: If it is unable to generate a path to the destination, it will use flightor instead (flying mount). This should solve some problems when the toon is stuck in a tight spot (for example the edge of a cliff), where there is no way out except falling or flying. It will most likely help many other cases too. Possible future additions: - If you are unable to fly, use click-to-move instead to fall off the cliff. - Also use flying mount if the destination is far away (for speed-up). - I have a few other cool ideas for making a full native flying mount experience.
But I don't understand why use BotPoi instead of the coordinate used when the bot uses the navigator class. This plugin replaces the default Navigator, so whenever the Navigator is used, my plugins navigation is used instead of the default. I'm hesitating a little with making it use Flightor with everything. Firstly, it just imitates the built in Native flying setting, and secondly, it causes problems with indoors destinations.
Just saw my character stuck in exactly that kind of spot today. The log kept spamming it couldn't generate path - and my plugin didn't take over. So I'm guessing Questing bot aren't using the "Navigator"
its easy you put this in the map plugins the folder and turn it on in settings tools plugins and it wil work. hey awsome i wil tes this out tomorow when im turn on my bots
thought about using "a" + "d" (turning) for moving if the next point is in a certain angle (160? for example) of facing direction; and using click-to-move more or less for greater angles?
This is really just a simple plugin to make sure you won't get stuck in places where the ground navigation can't help you. I'm afraid I don't have time to make something bigger out of it at the moment.
i dunno the purpose of this bot. I have never in my life had a issue with bot not finding destination. Only problems HB has is getting stuck on Trees or posts when it trys to go up ramps......And just pure stupidity of HB with questing.... will it fix those issues ?
I made this plugin because I had some issues with a non-flying botbase that sometimes got stuck in a place where ground navigation was of no help (mostly after falling off a cliff and landing on a little spot halfway down)
