[N - Cloth/Grind 81-83]Embersilk Cloth - Deepholm[N1Y]

Description: This profile will farm Stone Trogg Ambusher for [Embersilk Cloth]'s in Deepholm. Point on map for this farming will be the bottom-left corner at "Stonehearth". (Reference the Map)
This can also be used to grind from 81-83 since the mobs are all level 82. They do hit pretty hard, but most are already in combat with other NPC's. This doesn't slow down this profile. Having a good AOE CC would make this place go insanely fast.

The mobs have a 50% chance to drop 1-4 Cloths.

TESTING:
I ran for just over an hour w/ Mage.
200 loots/hr.
162 Cloth (AH my server @ 50g/20( (162/20)x50=405g)
26g vendoring Grey drops.
5 Greens, 43g if vendored (100+g if you AH them and they sell)
TOTAL: 474g/hr (For me at least)

I made a mistake in the title of the thread. DO NOT come here at level 80. These mobs will tear you apart. There are a few that aren't in combat already, which will agro.



You can also use Fpsware's Rogue CC if you want to use this profile for PickPocketing. These have a 22% of having [Flame-Scarred Junkbox]

For some reason he ignores a major part of all mobs, just running through them. Ideas what the prob?em might be?

 

Did you follow the settings image? It needs to be set to kill between hotspots, and a longer pull distance makes it target out farther.

 

Yes exactly the same, running as a shadowpriest if that would matter somehow. Any other settings i should be aware of?

I Dont have the "harvest minerals" crossed tho, but i've tried to cross it aswell.

 

What level is your character? Horde or Ally? What CC are you using? Is it only going past the mobs that are fighting the other NPCs?
It appears to me that HB doesn't designate Mobs in combat as valid targets when they aren't inside of the hotspots. I'll make new ones.

 

Im at 85 horde. Just using single target spells mind spike, mind blast and so on. And he just randomly ignores the troggs, doesnt matter if they are fighting another npc or not. I'd say 60-70% of all mobs around him he ignores-

 

Its because they do that shout... It brings you into combat, yet the CC doesn't take over, and HB decides to just keep running the path.
Might have to make a plug-in sometime to check for that, and force the CC into combat()
Thanks for pointing that out, I missed it during testing. But anyways I re-did the hotspots to cover a little more area.

But I must get a little more sleep, since I leave for work in 2 1/2 hrs. Lol

 

hey what CC u use for your mage? which spec?

 

Amplify (with finishing spell modifications), Arcane.
But seriously, I'm going to bed. I can't "legally" give you the modifications, CodenameG would have to give you them.

 

Just being curious, but does it really drop 1-4 embersilks from these troggs, i never get anything above 2 pieces. And i got tailoring 5xx if that would matter aswell. Since im new to cataclysm thats why i ask If it would apear to be something ive missed.

Wowhead shows 1-4. I've only ever gotten 3 from one mob.
I think it's the release out now that is causing the problem. Somehow it is losing the coordinates and object types for the mobs, so it just runs right past them. Casting Invisibilty, Mirror Image, Ice block somehow fixed this temporarily but it would in turn bug again.

Download the TEST version of HB in the downloads section at the top. Run your characters with the pre-installed Singular and this profile. No other addons unless needed. Let me know if it continues.

And he cant mount either for some reason. "you havnt learned this spell" or "spell is missing" pops up when he tries to mount. Did you setup with a special kind of mount or what could the problem be?

On that settings page, at the top where it says mounts. In the test version there is one for ground, another for flying. Put one of each type into its respective spot.

 

Does this support Potion of treasure finding?i mean does it collect the Tiny treasure chests?

 

Lol yes. In no way does this filter loot. In fact in is set to mail everything to your alt. No item rarity is set to sell to vendor. Makes it easier to not care about protected items.

 

Bug

When the bot is trying to get up to the troggs again it stop at the cliff around the " Bound fire elemental " quest mob is just starts afking there and loggs off please fix it.

 

Now that I think about it... I don't think there is a walking path back up to this area... Woops

Well with the limitations of grinding profiles I can't add a path back up inside this .XML file...
I'll see if I can throw together a plugin that'll do repairs/mailbox runs, of course depending on horde/alliance and what zone you're in. I'm definitely looking forward to trying to make it

 

I fixed moving there with flying by making a PB profile. It will also automatically use elixir of treasure finding and open the boxes you get out of it. Also, I've made it use HS to SW when the bags are full to mail the stuff, and then go take the portal back to deepholm. But I'm still stuck on the problem with not pulling most of the mobs :<
