Version 1.2 (April 17, 2012) Bot to Use: Questing Location: Pit of Saron, Icecrown (Northrend) Rep gained: Whichever of the 5 WoLK tabards are worn, or base WoLK faction Repair: YES Mailbox: YES Quests: No AFK: 100% No special plugin required! This profile will endlessly farm the trash in Pit of Saron, resetting the instance each time and NOT killing bosses. This will farm for the Battered Hilt rare drop, and also it will provide grindable rep for any of the 5 WoLK tabard factions, or the base WoLK rep for either Horde or Alliance. Make sure to set loot to ON, and the dungeon difficulty to HEROIC (if you want to farm for the Battered Hilt). I recommend using the LootFilter add-on to auto-delete gray items and scrolls so they don't fill up your bags (unless you want to fly to Dalaran more often to vendor them). This profile will detect if you need to mail/repair after each run and go do so in Dalaran at neutral vendors. START THE BOT INSIDE THE INSTANCE ON HEROIC MODE. Known issues: None. Please test! Change Log: v1.1 - Removed section of profile that went near dragon riders (to avoid their endless DoT damage + death). Fixed repair syntax. v1.2 - Revamped the repair/vendor/mail routine with FlyTo goodness. View attachment [N] Pit of Saron Trash Endless Farm 1.2.xml
I removed the part of the profile that went near those dragon riders that put the big DoT on you until you heal to full, because it led to deaths and deaths screw up the bot because it's so hard to get back to the instance when dead. It should be more reliable now.
What classes would you suggest this for? Obviously tanks are a given, regardless of tank type (i.e. Blood DK, Prot Warr, etc). And, also Zikke, you're coming out with some pretty awesome grind stuff. Keep up the good work. Now, almost all of my toons can get that cheeve.
I know it would be cake for DKs with their self-healing, and pallies and druids are pretty easy. I don't know enough about warrior tanks in Cata, but I think any of the tank classes wouldn't have a problem if properly 85 geared. If you're worried about your class/gear, make sure you bring some food/drink with you to try it out.
I love you never ran any WOTLK content so all my rep needs to be ground out Will test when I get home, thanks a million. Agreed with Zeldrak, great profiles you are churning out. G
Thank you for the positive feedback! I have also found that this is a pretty good Frostweave Cloth farming profile as well...
Thanks for the profile been running it for the last hour or so without any problems (prot pally). Would just like to know how many kills/hr ye are getting? im getting about 170 atm.
Iam trying to do this wiht my ilvl 395 tank pala but i keep dying. I have tried several CC's for this. Wich one do you suggest ? Also it keeps pulling all the trash in 1 go and not in smaller packs, is there a way to fix that ?
Hi just been running this works well with druid bear 397ilvl but when my bag's get full he will not go to the vendor am i missing something here great work by the way
Honorbuddy has trouble rezzing everytime I die, can never seem to find his way to POS. Anyone else having this issue?
If your tank is anywhere near ilvl 390 you should have no problem clearing this without dying at all (since I removed the part with the dragon guys). After each run it will go vendor if your bags have less than 4 free slots left, but the vendor is way over in Dalaran, so it should run to the outside world, fly to Dalaran, sell/mail, fly back, and go again. If yours isn't doing that, please post a log and I can try to troubleshoot it.
This is a great profile. Only problem is my DK might be TOO geared or I have too much free bag space. Murders all the mobs even when he facepulls extra packs but after fifth clear I run into the "too many instances" and he tries to zone in until he can enter again. Probably looks bad if someone saw this.
Add this line to the profile anywhere in the movement section (in between the While tags): Code: <CustomBehavior File="WaitTimer" WaitTime="180000" /> That will add 3 minutes to each run and hopefully it's enough to avoid the Too Many Instances message. You can adjust the duration as needed. If a lot of people say this is happening to them, I'll change the main profile with it.
It pulling too many packs at the same time. It will stay mountend and run trough all the points, even tough iam in combat. If i put <CustomBehavior File="ForcedDismount"/> in between 3 lines or so, would that solve it ?
