i have suffered with it from 40 or so and just grinded the levels that i can get the quests to work as they have changed and are not there. Now just gone to start deepholme as its mashed when doing mount hyjal. 1st buch of quests there is one it hasnt got a boom totaly useless..
on a plus note i did try my 86 after that was shit the other week and now since the updates from svn it seems to run well cheers.. i can see its not just me from the pist on the other board..
Couldnt you do a sticky explaining how to remove quests ? I had a go editing the routine but when you delete a npc name from picking up quests there seems to be a butterfly effect. maybe it could just black list the quest if it fails to collect after 10 attempts ?

I downloaded his questing pack 1-90 like a week ago, and it was a charm for me, hyjal worked flawless except 1 quest (Baron geddon), deepholm 2(Gunship in the air but the script told me that i have to do it by hand), then twillight highlands the start, its a known fact that u have to do the starting quests more or less when u start to use a profile that the bot can go on. Hope it gets better to you though!

Kick's 1-90 Profile Pack is very solid.

95+ percent of the time, the problem is created by the user. Examples include:
      • Mis-installing Combat Routines
      • Mis-installing Plugins
      • Trying to launch profiles on the wrong continent
      • Corrupted their cache by not using Honorbuddy correctly
      • Trying to use "Mixed Mode" with questing
      • Mesh issues (because the user has failed to open port 5031 or add AntiVirus rules for Honorbuddy)
      • And the list goes on and on.
You can't just "remove quests" and expect the profile to keep working. Many quests are chains--particularly in the later expansion packs, Bliz went mad with quest chains. Removing one quest prevents many follow-on quests from becoming available, and the profile can cease to work entirely. If a quest is problematic, is just easier to do it manually, and restart Honorbuddy, rather than attempt to remove the quest from the profile.

If you're having problems, please attach your full log, tell us your specific issue, and let's have a look.

      cheers,

How can it be out of date?
Nothing was changed in the 1-85 quests on MoP launch and I've run over 50 characters to 85 with it.

Running 1-90 with Kick's quests on HB isn't flawless. There will be hickups here and there. But in general you can run to 80 with maybe a mesh issue or a disconnect. 80-85 may have a hard quest or a problematic area (Baron Geddon, Gunship, they have been named).

All in all I'd say the topic title is false.

Most of the times the issue with profiles are on the user's end, so if you got a problem I suggest you take it in his thread instead of making a new thread.
