      Hi,

I want to report a behaviour which I cannot support with log files, but only by describing it.

I'm currently leveling a male Draenei (Shaman), and it happened to me more than once, and I'm using Kick's profiles for leveling, (always current via 'svn up'). This also happened to my Night Elf DK, both races happen to be quite "tall". The characters get stuck, but still moves a little portion so that Honor Buddy cannot seem to recognize it.

A good example is the Valiance Keep inn, where the toon moves outside, then mounts and tries to fly north-west to the questing hot spot. It gets stuck at the overhanging roof above the entrance to the Valiance Keep inn, but seems to have enough "room" to move a yard or so, and thus wobbles around in the air under the roof, and doesn't try his usual stuck techniques.

The place in the log is at 13:13:11, where you can see that it stops doing anything, until I come to the PC at 13:50:56 to move it just a tad to the left, so that it can continue the flight.

I don't know if it might be related to the "tallness" of draenei and night elf races, just wanted to report it.

Additionally I'd like to note that toons ingeneral use very unusual and needlessly dangerous paths around fences, walls or other obstacles. Maybe there can be something done in the direction of "safety distance"?

Here's another example, right after starting up the bot. It's at the DEHTA camp, flying up, hanging at the tent, wobbling forward and backwards.

22:20:39, the break is not long because I saw it and helped him around :)

Does that mean that nobody cares and it won't be fixed? As I mentioned in my last sentence of the first post - it might only be a matter of "safety distance" or something....

this stuff NEEDS to be fixed. Happens in a LOT of places, Warsong hold by the elevator, some trees in Terrokar Forest, etc...

I'm very frustrated with this as well. I've been told by friends how "easy" this would be. It has and it hasn't. I'm sure most will understand that statement. I don't get why, if I did I would try and fix it or understand. I mean this whole abandon quest thing? When does it kick in? My toon is just standing in this building apparently waiting for something and nothings happening. I try and do some of the quests he had lined up but he still runs back. I'm using 1-60 Alliance Duok the new one with a Dwarf Arms Warrior. I'm at like 43 or 44 I think. I just wish there was some way in HB2 to abandon a quest real time. It doesn't seem like a hard thing to add. Also any advice at all to a newbie would be appreciated I cant seem to get my little Dwarf past 40ish and to get him there was crazy. I had to do most of the work and the profile was supposedly written for dwarf human. I've read the guides and reviews. I just feel sometimes like maybe WoW changes little things so that it throws off the bot. My toon is waiting for a npc that obviously isnt there anymore. Are certain realms different?

you guys are having issues with QuestBehaviors, not the bot themselves, what you need to be doing is report the issue in the profiles thread, not its own thread. if your having problems, report the issue on the profiles thread, include and attachment, and finish the quest manually, once you do that start the bot up again, and it will pick up past the part where the scripting failed, and will continue running the profile.

make sure you attach your logs in the profiles thread.

@CodenameG: I must object. frm0025 kind of "hijacked" this thread, his issues may be profile related. But mine and TigerX's are not.

yes, its a problem with the quest behavior
      Code:
      [22:20:38:040] Goal: Flying to UseItem
      [22:20:38:040] [FlyTo-v184(debug) @line 4302]: Flying to 'UseItem': <3078.783, 5340.487, 58.12449>.

the flyto quest behavior is going to have to be modified to add anti-stuck behavior, but ether way, its kicks profile, it needs to be reported in his thread. specially in that case, since it can be fixed with a simple go to, 5 feet back before adding the flyto, since just doing that takes about 2 seconds people wont have issues with that quest while the bigger undertaking of actually fixing the root of the problem is coded.

Ok, sorry then. I thought it was the profile's job to tell the bot where to go (coordinates), and the bot alone would do the pathing...

its not only a questproblem .. in gb2 it will stuck to on trees or something like that .. in vashjir it is a big problem that he stucks at a point of a "tree" and does not recognize that he stucks
