http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...d-flight-form-dismount-issues.html#post982604 I believe it's the issue as above, but at the request of ChinaJade, I've opened a new thread. This is a log of a short run where I started it about 30 yards above water. It simply flew down to the water's surface and tried to fly underneath to get to the Eel (Zangarmarsh quest). I stopped it after it had been stuck there taking hits from a ranged hydra for 2 minutes. I've also noticed that sometimes if it hits the ground at a bad angle it will become stuck and stay in flight form (usually occurs when trying to engage a mob from flight form). I don't have a log of this, but I can provide one the next time I see it happen.
Hi again, SwiatBusiness, and thanks for the new thread and log! From your log... [10:40:57.039 D] Goal: CollectThings: 0/8 Eel Filet [10:40:57.104 D] System.OverflowException: TimeSpan overflowed because the duration is too long. at System.TimeSpan.Interval(Double value, Int32 scale) at System.TimeSpan.FromSeconds(Double value) It looks like the CollectThings behavior has got heartburn. I've seen TimeSpan overflow like this in a couple of behaviors, and have no explanation for it. The issue will need to be looked at by HBdev. This misbehaving behavior is why you are just standing there getting beat on. To work around the problem, you will need to do the objective of "No More Mushrooms!" manually (i.e., collect eight Eel Filets), then restart Honorbuddy. The issue doesn't appear to be related in any way to the usage of Druid Flight Form. If you have other problems you believe to Druid Flight form, please tell us the circumstances, and attach the full log again. We're always happy to help resolve problems. Sometimes, as in this case, we must work-around them while we wait for others to secure a more permanent solution. cheers, chinajade
Thanks, I appreciate your help and quick response, but I don't think that's the issue. When it gets stuck like this, all I have to do is manually right click the flight form buff to dismount and the bot will defend itself and continue working perfectly; it can even jump + flight form to fly out of the water. Maybe the bot is relying on contact with water to auto-dismount it as normal flying mounts do, but instead it just gets stuck on the invisible wall that flight form has with water. Here's another log of it happening again. It's simply hovering at the water's surface while targeting an underwater mob but is unable to enter the water or perform any action. Hi again, SwiatBusiness, and thanks for the fresh log! And there we go... sorry I missed it. You should not be running Kick's [Native Fly] profiles yet--use the [Fly] version instead. You may also need to turn off "Native Flying" in the Honorbuddy settings. "Native flying" is still in Beta and not ready for release (because of issues exactly like you are experiencing). Kick developed the [Native Fly] profiles not for Community use (yet), but such that HBdev would have something to test the code internally. Go back to [Fly] profiles, and turn off "Native Fly" in settings, and you will be off-and-away. cheers & sorry for missing it, chinajade
Ah, ok. My bad, I didn't realise native flying wasn't ready yet, it just seemed like the better choice. It seems to handle water better now; it flies to edge of the lake and dismounts on land before swimming in. Still not the most efficient way to do it (I guess that's why you're developing native flying), but at least it doesn't get stuck now. Thanks CJ. =)
