Ive noticed a "huge" problem in BG's as a healer. It is offcause normal that HB will follow and engage enemies when playing damage class, but when we use a healer we would want it to go where allies are, not run into a pack of enemies and get roflkilled. Would it be possible for HB to detect if the toon is healer, and change the rutine? follow allies, and not enemies? would be just awesome
Squire, or any auto-follow plugin, is just too risky to use these days in my opinion. Too many people are aware of auto follow bots and it's a good way to get yourself reported and banned/suspended. Just my 2 cp.
Stopped useing it looong time ago, even though I love Bobby's awsomeness I notice my paladin healer run past allies that are low on HP to find enemies, First then it stops and heal allies if they are close. That logic is kinda strange
dont use follow ... ever. Its to easy to spot. Isnt this a cc issue? as you have cc's for dps, aint there cc's for healers to then?
I guess it is a CC issue when I think this through, HB follows the path from hotspot to hotspot, CC kicks in when a player from the other faction is close. Ill check with Singular dev's and Bobby regarding this.
This happens to me using the HazzDruid CC on my lvl 25 Druid.... I?d like also to know where the problem is.. Rgds,
this isnt a CC issue, its an issue with HB. the CC is only for what the 'class' is susposed to do. no matter the class HB runs the same tho, it will seek out enemies and try to kill them. but as a healer you want it to seek out allies and heal them. squire is wayyy too easy to spot as a bot, auto followers look horrible. BUT the only problem if HB or some plugin was made for healers there would need to be some sort of auto follow in there to stay with the pack of allies. so there could be another plugin made similar to squire but searched for allies instead of hostels and ran to them
Good to have this issue sorted. Now lets hope a good dev will see this thread and see an oppurtunity to make something for healers Other bots have radars, wold be awesome to have something that scanned the area and moved where most allies is.
Just Bumping this one since more people are recognizing the problem as the number of Ultimate paladin Healer users are getting bigger each day.
Would like to see something like this in the "Healbotbot" Searching for group of allies... Found a bounch! moving to them! Im low on mana, moving towards nearest enemy to judge. I am taking heavy damage, trying to move to allies! Well, I hope it is understandable, playstyle like if you played the toon yourself.
