As a result of the 1.3.0i patch being released tonight, Exilebuddy will now be undergoing unexpected extended maintenance. An update will not be possible tonight, and no ETA is known yet for the next working version. No additional information is available at this time, but we hope to keep users updated with progress over the course of the next few days.
Patch 1.3.0i (1.3.0.14) introduced a new cheat detection system to Path of Exile. We're currently investigating what it is capable of, and our options for ensuring users are not affected by it. For obvious reasons, we can not go into details about it, nor will we disclose sensitive information about the current implementation in place. What we can tell users is, the use of any unauthorized 3rd party software, especially ones that modify the client, e.g., maphack, are detectable and the continued use of them will most likely result in your account being banned. While Bossland GmbH does not allow hacks nor advocates their use, we continue to urge users to not use such software, especially alongside our products. That concludes this first update. We do not have an ETA yet for users when EB will be updated, but user safety is our primary concern, so we'll take as much time as needed to provide a "safe as possible" bot.
Update 2: We're hoping to have a build out to users within a week, ideally sooner, but we'll see how things go. The bot is already functional, as normal (that was never an issue), but a lot of backend work/changes need to be done to handle client updates for the foreseeable future a lot faster. We don't want to launch too soon before getting everything sorted out, and then have 12-24+ hour updates every single client patch that hits, since this game patches so frequently. The time spent now is in hopes we can reduce the extra time that will be added on after each update now that the game has cheat detection we will have to work against. Once all the details are sorted out about upcoming changes to EB as a result of the cheat detection being added, we'll post more news about the changes and go over some details (where possible) as to how we'll be proceeding moving forward. For now though, as was with the 1.3 update, all I can say is things are being worked on all day, everyday until we get where we need to be. We thank users for their patience during this time, and hope to be back soon.
(This is a marker post) A Release version has been built since the Beta version seems stable. Management will make an announcement about compensation soon.
