Forum issues

Hello,

I do have problems with opening 1st pages of topics like:[Released] PureRotation or [Bot] Tyrael - WMF. When i press on first page is taking me to the main page of Honorbuddy Forum. Its happening with few others topics. Any idea? Its happen after when forum was offline for maintenance.

This happens to me every so often as well. Just clear your browser cache, and all should be well.

• Firefox -> Options -> Advanced tab -> Network sub-tab
• -> Cached Web Content -> "Clear Now"
• -> Offline Web Content and User Data -> "Clear Now"

You'll need to Google for how to do this in other browsers.

Hi again, WgizmO, and glad you are off-and-away.

No clue. Mirabis posted a Tyrael the other day. I moved it to Plugins - Featured & Bot bases sub-forum (at his request). Then, he took it down, so the thread was subsequently deleted.

I've no clue what's going on with Tyrael. I see a lot of people reference it, but I couldn't find it either the one time I went digging for it in the forums. I don't know who the original author is, or if its maintained, or part of another package. I have no clue what Tyrael does, and how it differs from Lazyraider, or anything else.

I decided with all those questions, it wasn't worth pursuing. Please toss the info if you find something authoritative.

Weischbier coded Tyrael.

It's been removed/discontinued due to a disagreement with admin.

 

I got Problems too, since the Server got DDOS, the site seems way more slow then befor :S

 

Thank you for the information, Millz. I'll try to make sure Weischbier's wishes are respected if someone posts another copy then. I saw him post elsewhere that he was just 'lurking' in the forums, and no longer contributing for the while. I sure hope he eventually changes his mind.

Aye, Svenstar123. My understanding is the forum is still under attack and at the same load levels. Its just that a couple of the HBdev team knew how to abate the damage, and did so. More info here:

I think Hawker's "99% of the current attack is being mitigated" is over-estimated, but it is without a doubt a huge improvement in the face of the load that is being thrown at the BosslandGmbH servers.

why would anyone need to update lazyraider?
