72 hour ban while using questbot

Was quest botting and received the ban on 5 accounts. I was also BGbotting on another account at the time, but this account seems to be fine.

The emails I received stated that the account was being banned for hacks, which differs from the automation software emails I normally receive for a botting ban.

 

Pretty much says it there tho . 12hours botting without stop+bgbotting. 100% you got banned because a big group of people reported you. It is really common sense if you think about it. mhmmm 12hours non-stop bot+bgbot mhhm maybe bann wave ? no common sense ^^ gl next time

 

Well, like I said, the BGbot did not get banned. I believe it is a possibility that my bots that were questing were reported. However, I have quest botted over 50 accounts (to sell) using quest bot and this is the first time any of them have been banned. The emails I received were strange as well. Whenever I have received a ban, it has always mentioned automation software somewhere in the email and it is almost always a permanent account closure. These bans were 72 hours and they say nothing about automation software but speak of hacks.

 

This post is also quite snarky. I wasn't saying anything about a banwave, I was just making a report about being banned using questbot which is believed to be relatively safe. I was also making note of how the ban emails and ban length are different. If you are going to be a jackass, you should probably just keep it to yourself.
