I don't think you people get it. When you bought the bot, you agreed (should have)having knowledge that you have a chance to get caught using it because it's obviously against the rules to use it. If you bot and get banned don't play stupid or freak out about it. You knew the risks when you chose to bot now live with the consequences of being unsafe in terms of using it.

We all, well most, bot and if you can't get it through your heads that you took the risk when you bought this service then you shouldn't be using things like this in the first place.

Make your ban threads to show you got banned but don't be an attention whore, if something is happening, it will happen.

the issue isnt getting caught being stupid. the issue is people coming here saying 'yur stoopid, yoo bot too long' when we clearly state we are botting 2-3 hours a day. the issue is mods telling us we are stoopid because HB is perfect and cannot be detected. we are reporting odd situational bans and you tell us to go fuck ourselves. my last two accounts were banned this week. two days after hitting 90. i had 20 stacks of herbs/ore posted on the ah. not 20 stacks of everything, 20 stacks total. most of those were gathered while using kicks profiles. STOP RIGHT THERE, IM NOT ATTACKING KICKAZZ IN ANY WAY. now that is said. many othes are saying they are getting banned while questing, supervised.

my last account had a lvl 77 druid i have been leveling for over a month now. over a month and still 77. couple hours a night on questing and about an hour of bg's. all supervised. they snatched him up like it was nothing. that makes 12 accounts ive lost in the last couple months. the first half were my fault, i was pushing the boundries, seeing how far i could go before a ban. then i got smarter, slowed down to 10 hours a day, still got hit. started cod's, no auctions on one toon, still got hit.

now you tell us, 'lawl, yoo got cawt, yoo dummy, yoo bawt too long!!' and a guy above us says 'lol you play you pay, while other posters say hb cannot be detected. not much point in putting a gatherbuddy in the package if we are limited to running 2 hours a day on it. FFS if i only wanted to farm 2 hours a day, id do it manually, and not paid for all those keys.

maybe i got into botting at the wrong time, maybe HB is on its way out, who knows, but hiding in the sand and telling everyone its safe seems to not be working.

hope you get it together, and yeah, ill buy more accounts, and more after that. but the idea that HB is undetectable as long as you only bot 1 hour a day, is just plain silly.

If you want to make your post count go up, please dont do it here... clearly I know the risks and if you have actually read through this trhead it was more about if I should appeal and if I do will it affect my main account..... your post is useless. its hardly an attention whore... its a question I wanted feedback on

I'm not saying you're stupid or anything like that. If you are that idiotic or incompetent to understand that I specifically said "don't play stupid or freak out about it" and everything I wrote about was "risk" then maybe you should reevaluate your reading skills.

I dont think I need to reevaluate my reading skills as much as you need to learn to post something useful. I can't help that your post was not helpful and that your simply being a jackass....

Clearly I know the ins and outs of botting and how one should nad shouldnt blah blah blah.... but you like so many other useless posting people in this thread dont undersstand I was looking for advice on appeal process.... not being told something everyone around here knows

And people saying HB is detected and cry about a bot that many people haven't been banned using or the few that have been banned that say "saw it coming" or "don't care, just buying new accounts" is "helpful" to you? So if you're looking for appeal advice, use the search. That's why it's there. /end conversation

You are well on the way to getting a ban yourself.

Actually there has been some good stuff brought up here, but you sir are simply just trolling... Not helpful, not necessary, just plain trolling. If you have nothing useful to say ( either in this thread, or really on ANY forum out there ) do us all a favor and just don't reply.

The people that want to give advice can, and people like you can read and simply move on. It should be apparent by now, that your personal opinion on this matter is not wanted in this thread.

Its hard to tell why Bliz bans accounts because they use a variety of techniques:

      • Some offenses require immediate redress. Historical examples include excessively foul language, scamming/gambling, exploiting a game bug, or other things involving the trade channels. Most such 'immediate' bans are those that can either directly or indirectly threaten the economy. Destroying an economy is one of the quickest/easiest ways to kill an MMO.

      • Most bans occur due to monitoring over a longer period (6-8 weeks), and then people exceeding a certain threshold during that period are banned in a batch.
Unless you were doing something that required immediate banning, its impossible to say what pushed you over the ban threshold. To think it was something you were doing the day of, or even the week of, the ban is folly. The decision was already made long before those last toon activities occurred.

Honorbuddy is not detected. If it were, everyone would be banned and Honorbuddy would be a dead product. What is getting you banned is some risky behavior you have engaged in during the last 8-12 weeks. You were detected WoWserver-side--either through doing something risky (e.g., selling gold), or player reports (in BG, or while "humping a tree for a couple of days" while questing, or while your Combat Routine attacked an Evading mob for a few hours), or something similar. My guess is most are guilty of doing unsupervised Battlegrounds--that is known very-high-risk behavior, yet people can't seem to give it up. Its as simple as that.

We are closing this thread because many of the latest posts are inflammatory, trolling, or degrading into personal attacks. Such actions will not be tolerated.

      cheers,
      chinajade
