Is Jewelcrafting and Enchanting profitable nowdays? My servers price is: Spirit Dust, ~2.2g each Mysterious Essence, ~29g per stack Ethereal Shard, ~47g per stack Jc rings seems to go for around 45-90g each Codding the ghost iron ores is like impossible to get over 17g each for them, they go for around 19g per stack on ah. I don't have a JC / Enchanter yet so I am asking you guys before I take the time to level them up and realise that it was a waste.
You put enchants on scrolls, sell on AH. You cut gems, sell on AH. That's ALOT more profitable than selling raw enchant mats, gems, or ores. and use an AHbuddy to sell them.
You want many of each color, if you're using an ahbuddy. edit: single color gems are low on all realms, orange > purple > green on my realms. But with an ahbuddy, you'll make more & sell faster if you have 10 of 50 colors instead of 500 bold primordial rubys.
Soulravager, can you explain me how AHBuddy works than? Because I'm on an ipod and can't look it up atm. How come you make more gold using AHBuddy?
Buy a wotlk acc, transfer all gems/enchants/flasks/inks/bars to that character, use AHBuddy for 16 hrs per day to constantly have the lowest auction on the AH, people always buy gems, enchants, flasks during raid etc. compared to manually putting it with a gather once per day, ahbuddy is amazing.
i have hundreds of stuff being mailed to me, how can i used auction buddy without it constantly trying to loot all my mail?
@ i actually did the "math" in it.. every1 says JC/ENCH makes alot.. i used 50 stacks of Ghost Iron Ore for this test; a rough calculation; Spirit dust 19g 60s each stack (i got 9? stacks) = 186g Mysterious Essence 16g 60s ea. (i got 11) = 182g purified amethyst (got 1) = 73g 90s Brilliant ruby 28g 90s ea (got 6) = 173g Wicked onyx (got 1) = 39g 80s Champions onyx (got 1) = 6g 85s Accurate amethyst (got 14) 45g 90s ea = 642g Sparkling river's heart (got 6) 21g 90s ea = 131g small ethereal shard (got 8) 9g 95s ea = 79g Total = 1513,55g estimated value from selling the 50 stacks of ore raw =1150g prospecting and then disenchanting made me 365g profit in this case, idk if the gem proc rate is based too much on RNG or not..
Would transfering mats via gbank to my main account, where jc, enchanter, inscriptionist are, be risky? Im debating between doing so or not
Dont forget the enchants on scrolls and good gems people want are only if them crafters are 90 with the recipes. My JC enchanter are 85. So cant get the recipes people want. I just shuffle, make rings/necklaces. DE, sell mats. When mats stock up. Sell rings/necklaces to ah.
Probably. My shufflers are level 80 and they have every mop recipe except for jade spirit, dancing steel, and the tank one. I ask others for meta cuts.
Get recipes learned when do the daily learn thing? I just recently started back up 3 weeks ago so dont have all. I have tried selling ones can make and sell maybe 1 a day. But Im not using ahbot. Just posting few once a day.
Yea I think its 100 days, so it takes some time. Meanwhile, ask a jc in trade. I did and pay 500g for 100 cuts for example. edit: since you're 85, go to jade forest and farm the turtles with profile?
I have recently finished a cycle of mine and will post below the results, I have averaged everything out but you should get the general idea: Original Materials 250 of each green quality gem 50 each of River's Heart, Primordal Ruby and Sun's Radiance 130 Serpents Eye Items made & Materials left over 500 Ornate Bands / Shadowfire Necklaces 21 Reflection of the Sea / Lord's Signet / Lionfall's Ring 25ish each of River's Heart, Primordal Ruby and Sun's Radiance Materials after disenchant and scale up 84 Ethereal Shards 4 Mysterious Essence Profit selling straight mats Ethereal Shard @ 43g = 3612g Excess Gems = 1778g Etheral Shards and Excess Gems = 5390g Profit including Primal Diamonds from herb 25 Primal Diamonds @ 225g = 5625g Ethereal Shards + Primal Diamonds = 11015g Now I have only been doing this for about 2 weeks and above is not even taking into account that you should look at your market prices and see if it is worth upgrading your enchanting materials and the even more important idea that a lot of your enchanting materials should go onto scrolls which will increase their worth even more. I am sure there are a few more ways to improve the way I am doing it, but using the above and not including enchants on scrolls or anything to do with herbs or primal diamonds you should easily be able to make 5000g a day with a 16 hour gathering profile at around 170nph. Once you start optimising it and adding enchants onto scrolls and selling some rare proc's on your rings and necks, I would say that 8000g with one gatherer a day, just using Enchanting and Jewelcrafting is easily possible. Hope I helped!
