The majority of public bots on the market today uses one form or another of injection or memory writing. Injection simply stated is a software program changing values in the games memory to achieve an action (for example; if you want to click on an item, you would 'tell' the game that you clicked on the item by calling functions in world of warcraft). Can it be confirmed that honorbuddy uses direct memory injections ? The amount of crashes and correlations to subsequent bans is getting stronger. I've decided to give shadowbot a go after losing another 3 fresh bot accounts to this gathering mass ban wave.
Not to be a dick but please look up the definition of banwave. If there was a banwave, there would be THOUSANDS of reports over the course of a day, not 25. Don't get me wrong, there used to be times when the ban section would go 3 weeks without a ban report so it looks like Blizzard either actually gives a shit about botters now or they tightened up some sort of security
So far nobody has posted anything of value in reference to whether or not HB is using memory injections. Good stuff, not sure why everyone is getting mad. All the more reason to leave this beautiful community. QQ
I'm not impressed, I tell you I lose 3 accounts recently and you infer that's my total so far ? What's the point of your post ?
Regardless, I'm more interested in people reading my question and perhaps providing some insight on it. Here it is again just in case you didn't see it..."Can it be confirmed that honorbuddy uses direct memory injections ?"
The number of posted reports does not accurately depict the number of bans. Not everyone posts their bans. I guess I'll have to re-phrase the ban wave into "more frequent bans" than usual.
This bot is safe. I'm convinced its so safe that I use it daily. If I get banned it would be in a ban wave... and I am still playing.
If injection were causing bans, then we would ALL be banned. Honestly this is just another of the theories that doesn't hold up that well if you think about it at all, like the wild invisible node theory.
ofc it does. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/developer-forum/36089-how-works-injection-you.html
Read the godamn entire page you're linking to you noob - Honorbuddy itself does NOT inject any libraries into WoW. Ever.
and i truly believe blizz has the capability to detect hb in the case of player reports and/or gm investigation. i dont think blizz constantly scans for hb, thats why everyone who uses hb isnt banned instantly. but... i think upon request blizz can detect hb.
I don't report my bans its pointless to do so HB isn't gonna get me my accounts back or give me new ones they wont get any relevant information from I was using this and this and this when I received my ban so there isn't really any point in it. It's easier not to post about it because there are so many asshats in this "community" that are nothing more than trade chat trolls posting nonsense and 'look@me be a dick" posts few people in this community really help.
