How does this work for levelling? Can I just start it near the fishing trainer in Org and grind my way up? Since I only see WotLK profiles.

 

you can, just make a profile with a hotspot at where you want to stand at to fish, trainer should be within 100 yds. also if you add a vendor to profile it'll automatically sell once bags get full

 

I dunno if its just me, maybe something is bugging out since i havent rebooted in like five days, but every time i try and edit the Cast Range value it immediately resets to 10 or 20. i was having some problems with the default value of 17 not casting far enough alot of the time, so i was trying to change it to 15. when i push "1" it changes the value to 10, then when i push "5" it changes again to 20.

I believe that blizzard changed it so that all bind on pick up things from fishing no longer have dialog boxes, it will just loot it.

EDIT: i was wrong, you will still get a confirmation box when looting BoP items while fishing. I do not know whether Auto Angler handles this or not, but in the mean time there is this addon.

Hello, I have added "AutoAngler9006.1.cs" in my HonorBuddy/Plugins folder. And then finally I load my fishing profile, the toon mounts up and runs to the hotspot just standing there, if there is more than one hot spot then it just run to the first, then the second one and so on.. In other words. It does not fish!
Using HB 1.9.5.3
Please note if/what im doing something wrong

I can not apply Shiny Bauble to my rod. Im doing it manily.

 

I got this running great no issues does tend to bug out with some profiles I got but a stop and start sorts that, they flying seems to be a bit buggy as well for me as tends to get stuck and blacklist a lot of pools, stuck to land profiles as work better.

 

Same problem as the posters above:

All I've done is instructions on pg 1:
1. put autoangler9006.1.cs in plugin folder
2. saved dalaran fishing.xml in profile
3. load HB
4. select dalaran fishing profile (can't select plugin for autoangler, meant to be able to?)
5. start in mixed or grinding mode, toon runs to fishing trainer npc in dalaran and stands there.


Get lots of the follwing errors on loading HB:

I just woke up to a major problem. my character was stuck in the middle of the pool in crystal song forest, mounted, and in the water. problem is that as a DK (not sure about other water walking classes) if we are in the water mounted and try to jump straight up to get on top with path of frost again, its near impossible due to the extra height of the mount. this time im paticular i was on a mammoth so there was no way in hell i was getting back on top.

I dont know how you would be able to check if this occurs, it didnt drown or anything. im not even sure how it happened, but maybe a simple flag that if it hasnt caught a fish in ten minutes it needs to change something. for now i will be adding max time on hotspot tags to prevent this again/

 

SHIT I hope so Ive been using autoangler for 2 weeks now trying to get the turtle mount on my main and its been driving me crazy cause I don't want it to get banned

I thought bliz removed the confirmation dialog for looting rare items like the turtle but I might be wrong. Though there has been quite a few that got the turtle including myself and I had no WoW addon that auto excepts it.

 

if you managed to get flying working consider yourself lucky . you can try increasing cast range to see if it helps

Can i just say; this is the best plugin i've seen yet and this got me my turtle mount after around 90hours of fishing.
Very goodjob here highvoltz and im actually using your DK cc as we speak.
So in reply to the 'loot' issue on BoP items, you can definitely bot this and the item will be looted. Once again, i freaking love you dude.
