HB ARCHIVES: Kick's Old Posts Thread--DO NOT DELETE!

Same problem here with my lvl 16 Warlock and the Quest "Find Baron Longshore" in Ratschet and with a lot of other quests too.

 

If i've been grinding from 85-88 3/4 can i start the 88 profile and have it work as intended? I currently have done no quests in MOP. Yesterday when i tried to use the 88-89 profile with questbot, HB said that it was trying to get to the quest giver, however, my character stayed in place for about 10 minutes. He then mounted up and proceded to run across the map to the western coast and jump into the ocean. I think there was a "server side" issue that kick had posted about, and i no longer see that post.
TLDR: Can i start these profiles at any point as long as i'm within the level range necessary?

 

Will you be working on the PTR to include the Thunder King Dailies to this compilation? If not how soon after 5.2 would you do so and would you consider starting on the PTR?

 

Bot not working

I can't get [N - Quest] Cenarion Circle - Silithus A [Kick] or [N - Quest] Cenarion Circle - Silithus B [Kick] to work. Tried both of them.

I have no immediate plans to start on 5.2 as I still have yet to finish 5.0 and 5.1. With limited amount of time in my weekdays I've been focusing on bug fixes and the last few quests to try and get it up to date with 5.1 and stable. I understand everyone's want to have it working for release but trying to complete the base before the expansion. If I have an open afternoon I will xfer my main to PTR and see what I can get started.

No promises pre release.

I'll make efforts to add in alliance side right away. If its neutral, yay. If not, horde will follow soon after.

Question, how are you guys leveling to over level 80 in 3 days? Are they full of shit or not?

So far I love this question profile here, thanks KICK!!! But it's been aabout 10-14 days and still not even 70. I bot for about 7-12 hours a day and still can't seem to do this efficiently. Am I doing something wrong or do these other guys have special leveling gear?????!?!?!?!?!

 

Will grinding get you enough creds to upgrade your gear? How do you level your gear with grinding?

 

my toons hit 90 in less than a week ... i don't know what's wrong with your setup

 

Lol, someone told me about the heirloom gear. Are you using that? I really don't like WoW or care about it at all (since they nerfed twinks), and had no idea about this XP bonus gear. Maybe that is my issue. I'm going to try that now.

Awesome profile and have been using it on all my toons so big thanks. Having an issue with Outland profile (H) 60-70. The bot in zangarmarsh (lvl 65) just won't go anywhere and it kept spamming quest pickup and etc. Here's a log so not sure if it's the profile problem or HB problem. Thanks.

 

It seems what ever edits were made has this mostly working as intended, i have to help it out here and there when it seems to forget whats going on, or for that one quest on the water walking lake where you kill the main guy. Those damn adds constantly spawn and my dude just wants to stay there and fight them all.

 

[Questing] Kick's Outland Horde Leveling Non Stop Back and Forth Near Walls/Pillars

I'm currently using Kick's Horde Outland leveling Profile. currently level 59, with expert Riding "Flying". First it won't fly anywhere...it only uses ground movement whether or not it's on a flying mount or not. I feel like this problem stems from it not using the flying feature, but when Pass near a Wall, tunnel, Pillar anything I would normally be able to fly over it gets stuck running back and forth as if it's trying to get inside the wall/pillar. Makes it 100% inoperable and very obvious that it's not human controlled movement. I have two logs attached, Both should show whats happening.

Hello found bug: Wichteln, einmal anders - Quest - World of Warcraft
at this quest the bot doesnt use the questitem and so its an endless fight against this questmop because the goal of the quest is to catch this mop and not to kill it.. i hope you know what i mean

 

well looks like golden lotus was fixed have not had any issues with it not picking up all the quest. and no more msg saying previous comp quest detected msgs

and another thing is the klaxx quest has issues were bot will just stand there and do nothing ill get a log later when i do the dailys again

 

Jagged Abalone - this spot needs to be black-listed as it always gets stuck here (1385.232, -380.0509, -15.21623)

 

There was no fix, issue was not profile related.

It has been blackspotted...twice...and it still goes there. Believe me I'm trying...

 

Fat Long-Fat Rematch - doesn't land properly on top of the building's inner circle area. it lands on the outer area and cannot navigate close enough to talk with him to initiate the fight.

 

Dominance Offensive is broken for me. No idea why. I cleared my WoW game client Cache, the Cache in the Data folder. Deleted the daily copy of the honorbuddy folder i made, I make a new one each day. Then I tried to run it again and it does not work. Accepts the first quest and then the MORE COMING SOON!!! dialogue pops up. There's nothing wrong that I can find on my side. Every other daily I ran went perfectly fine before I went and deleted everything and recopied my original honorbuddy folder for these dailies.
