[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

You say i have to select the profile tab...
i dont know how to get the Picture you have.
Start AH Bot (Combat Bot) and the Bot dont do anything!

Please help me

Should be starting as ProfressionBuddy not CombatBot, once you have selected the profile.. Which the profile is obviously the AHBuddy.xml file you've edited to suit your needs / prices / etc.

Can it be done? Yeah, most likely. But I'm not 100% sure what your question was.

 

So I have it set to ignore anything other than stacks of 20, or so I thought, but it will post a stack of thorium bars undercutting the cheapest stack of 20, but then when it scans for undercuts, it cancels the auction because there's a stack of lets say 5 or 7 thorium bars for cheaper. Isn't the "Ignore stacks less than" option supposed to prevent that?

 

And what is about multibotting with 3 -6 Bots?

different servers are different prices ... this i cant make!

I would like: that the Bot alway be the cheapest in the AH

I got a strange error though.
If we take a look at a simple item like (from the raw xml file)

I have added for safety reasons a MinBuyOut of 500g and a MaxBuyOut of 550g

However if i look at the exact same thing from within the "Bot config > Sub PostToAH after i loaded the profile into HonorBuddy i got the following:
min Buyout 500g , max buyout 100g.
That is also causing a but load of error and an increased loading time for the profile.
PB 1.541: HighVoltz.Composites.PutItemInBankAction->SubCategory appears to be unused

Anyone can tell me why that is? cause to me that seems funky

 

I am having the hardest time getting this set up to withdraw from the guild bank. And I have searched this thread over and over and tried about eerything in it and my toon just stants at the auctioneer checking to cancel or post auctions with nothing in his bags. Any help would be nice.

 

Can you post one of your SellItemOnAhAction lines from from your file that this is happening to, so we can check it?

For multiple servers, you can make multiple different files. Just rename them to AHBuddy_ServerName_Faction.xml where ServerName is the name of one of the servers and Faction is Horde or Alliance on that server. Repeat for each applicable.

If you want the bot to always be the cheapest in the AH, the easy solution is to open the AHBuddy.xml file find all instances of MinBuyout="0g0s0c" and replace with MinBuyout="0g0s1c", this will make it so that every item you have set-up in the file will keep undercutting until it reaches one copper. Of course your profit will be thrown out the window as at one copper that's cheaper than selling to vendors, not to mention you might re-list something several thousand times costing you a deposit each re-list until you're broke.

If you don't like that, it may be time to remind people that AHBuddy gives results that are reflective of the time and effort put into it's setup. It's something that can be continually added upon, you can increase the feature-set or manipulate it's contents with a third party application. I've been using it for weeks now, have added several features which make it suit my goals when it comes to the AH and making gold. I've also written a basic application that'll take pricing data from a Undermine Journal CSV output, calculate pricing for each item based upon a formula I was happy with and replaces the prices inside the AHBuddy.xml file. I'm also working on a straight AHFlip profile that's generated through a PHP-Driven website and can be generated daily with the most up-to date prices, I'm on about my seventh real attempt with this and started on a new server managed to get 50g from people in Stormwind and ran it a few times a day for the last week or so and it's already made over 5,700g which is pretty good for starting with just 50g!

As I say, you get what you give. Put a little more effort in, spend some more time reading and thinking and you'll see the rewards.

 

What items are you trying to withdraw? By default it'll only deposit or withdraw Ore, Herbs, Enchanting Mats, Uncut Gems and Leathers. Each one of those categories needs to be enabled in the settings. If it's something not from one of those categories you need to either add it into one of them, or create a new group, setting and subroutine.

Make sure you're restarting HB and reloading the profile between changes. Otherwise try and make the change within the BotConfig area and then check the XML to see if the change is reflected.

i succesfuly edited the default scrit to sell ALL my blacksmith made armors, 24 items in total and its working very well-

Hi, you need to have a SellItemOnAhAction for each of the JC ItemIDs that you want to sell.

For example:

Hi, can this be run in Exodar? Every time I run it in Exodar the toon gets stuck behind the auction counter. Then, when LogMeOut hearths to the inn and relogs, it can't find its way back to the auctioneer. Suggestions? Will I have to go to another city? I'd like to stay out of high traffic areas obviously. Thanks for the help! I can provide a log if needed.

 

I haven't tried Exodar, I hate the place. Works for me in Darnassus though.

I don't seem to get the AFK issue, maybe have a look around on the forums for an AntiAFK plugin. I'm sure there's one somewhere. Personally, I'm toying with the idea of having my AH Bots either sit on the benches in the AH between cycles or or do something else. If I ever get around to it.

Set it off and it bought all the herbs at stupid prices even the even single items at stupid pricesnot the ones I have set here, so I guess there is a problem somewhere anyone got any ideas.?
