Thats good to hear I just hope we don't get a lot of bans from BETA taking a dump today, we're probably on the radar just waiting for that one big flag to go up and that flag was probably today :-/
No the newest release BETA was 1.0.452.15 I have a copy of 1.0.432.112 but if the problems are Nav/server related I don't imagine changing the client will make much difference. I might try it and see. L
Ok Guys I have been botting now for an hour with 1.0.432.112 I haven't had the dreaded afk syndrome yet. The Navigation is a bit weird but I saw only one complaint about botting when the tank continuously bumped another player and then drove into twice the building he was using as cover and destroyed the building (I'd be pissed too) I imagine the bot got confused as it kept saying that it was stuck. If it had just driven straight ahead there would have been nothing in its way but it kept circling and then driving forward a bit. L
Well I just figured out what happened ... i got rooked by TangLeader - Bot tool for World of tanks WorldWide server. . The sites are identical. im not sure how I got mixed up with the fake.
Yeah I don't think its safe botting right now. Release/BETA seem to be having Navigation/Targeting issues
The main problem I've seen is the tanks still have a tendency to turn their hull away from opponents when engaging time to time, but more of a problem than that is navigation or control of small and fast tanks. The small and fast tanks zip around far too much and it makes it appear too bot-like. The should move hiding place to hiding place or just rush out behind enemy lines using side paths. Otherwise great as usual and I love the bot. Thanks guys.
I've just pushed an update which addresses two issues: TankLeaderBETA 1.0.455.16 Tanks should no longer stand idle in battle. Queueing should now work even for garages with 100 vehicles in it (or more). Little explanation on the last one. We've changed the way queueing works; before, TankLeader would look up the tank with the specified name in your garage. That was pretty damn slow, and didn't really work too well once you had a fairly big garage. What we've done is we store the IDs of the tanks you want to queue with in the settings file, and TankLeader will only look those vehicles up, see if they're ready, and go to battle if they are. If none of the specified vehicles are ready for battle, TankLeader will simply wait until one of them is. It'll no longer queue with other vehicles you haven't specified. That's a different approach from before, where it'd simply pick a random vehicle if the ones you wanted weren't available. For short, TankLeader doesn't "know" about any vehicles in your garage apart from the ones you specify. This does mean the old settings file won't work anymore, and you'll need to run this beta in a new, empty folder or delete your settings folder at least. Once you've done that, go into the settings window and specify the tanks you want to queue with. Once you hit the "+" button, it'll add numbers to the list. These are the unique identifier in your garage; meaning a Tiger in your garage will probably not have the same ID as a Tiger in someone else's. Right now I'm not 100% sure what this number is based on, just that the ID at least remains the same. It could be that it changes over time, but that's something that'd need further testing, hence throwing it out as a beta. If it does, you'll need to re-specify the tanks to queue with again. TankLeader beta will ask you to update once you launch it. If you don't have the beta yet, to to the first post of this thread; the download is available there. That didnt take long I let mine run today while at work, Standard Release version. I was idle in the garage for over 5hrs and bot still said it was moving :-/
