Where is the world did you hear that they were going to impose a player cap? All I read was that they are trying to add servers as fast as possible to accommodate the players. Why you gotta make stuff up?

im trying to keep this thread alive , so u guys see that there are alot of people interessted in the game

on the other hand i dont wanna overspam the forums with "OMFG WE NEED A POE BOT!!!" because it might cause the opposite effect (and he wont support it and all my posts get deleted)


sooo either we would have to get a number like "give us 500posts or likes or whatever, then we do it" or we would need the option to talk with mr bossland (or someone who can make the decision) directly

so we can get his impression on a product for poe

the game is on one hand very random, and if noone from the buddystaff ever played it, it might take a little time till they even get a impression on PoE, and then they still have to do all the coding work for the automatic leveling software

on the other hand, there is ALOT of things which are very similar to diablo3, so maybe the one or other thing, wouldnt have to be redone completly (example click to move)

so since im really bad at coding, i couldnt tell how hard it is to make a bot for this game (i think this fact might influence the decision also)





i remember tony said "no plans for that game yet"

my question would be "what can the community do , to change your plans?"

 

Nothing, PoE sucks, I honestly prefer D3, and I think since they already have DB, they'll probably won't bother with PoE bot.

 

D3 sucks PoE is much better.

Tbh even though I currently bot D3, I respect PoE more.
PoE is an indie game but many says it's what D3 should have been in the first place.

D3 is ridiculously easy and flawed game. End game was not there until several patches and it still is somewhat clunky.

It's impressive PoE (again, as an indie game) can compete with likes of D3.
This could very well be a beginning of new and respected IP.

Internet celebrities (controversy ones, but still nevertheless) Kungen and Kripp plays and claims it to be harder than D3 - I agree.
Me and my mates have been playing it for a while now and HC mode in Cruel difficulty level is extremely hard and unpredictable.

Good example of unpredictable gameplay is how Kripp (#1 HC Player in PoE) was supposed to do a routine loot of a boss, and out of nowhere boss' corpse exploded just when he was looting it, killing Kripp in the process.

Bot would be appreciated for game such as PoE, because I (and I'm sure many more) see tons of potential in it.

- They get the physical game package
- They get a virtual platinum kiwi non-combat pet
- They get a enlarged forum avatar

Trading sucks alot in PoE
- Too many Elitist hypocrites or trolls claiming to be Ironborn
- People who try to run a scam

 

Either elaborate that sentence or we will assume you're just under the influence.

GW2 is an MMO.
PoE is Action RPG.

GW2 is produced & distributed by huge and widely known companies.
PoE is produced & distributed by an indie developer.

Both are F2P but similarities end there.

Just because something is F2P doesn't mean it's proved to be crap, though.
Also if you've read any PC Gaming articles in past 12 months you'd know many (bigger companies, too) claim F2P is "the future".

I'm not going to take part on that latter statement but it may very well be.

And again, GW2 - MMO, PoE - Action RPG.

It's well worth a shot as far I am concerned(to develop a bot).

wut ? lol i don't know what is the difference between mmp or action rpg difference nor do i care . i bot them either because i don't have the patience or time to gather the stuff but i like the game or to make money out of it
gw2 is crap as i've tried it for a bit . got bored really fast nothing to keep me playing plus no one interested in buying gw gold
as for these diablo3 celebrities they are just a bunch of losers and i would hardly take them as indicators

You make some valid points but as everyone is entitled for their own opinion I'm going to have to disagree with your latter statement and would very much like to see ExileBuddy.

 

nah but if 8k people watch poe, there are at least 8k people who are interessted enought in the game ,to watch people play

then the numbers from which get tweeted from poe, we can assume 70k people play, maybe 80-90k or 50-60k today (it might be more or less)
but thats about the mass we deal with

and i dont think d3 has that many people left :X
simply to the fact that i am really a HUGE fan or the diablo franchise and i cant play it cause i get bored too much (there simply isnt nothing to do, what a bot shouldnt do!)
poe is a DAMN lot of fun, and even after we get a buddy for the game we need to make alot of plugins and shit, because there is really alot to do in that game (u could bot with always new created characters the lvl1 gems, or maybe the whole first act for all the gems, or maps or other stuff) so there is alot to play AND bot in that game,

i really was disappointed in d3, and i really like poe this far
i also like to bot in the games i play, and since there isnt a bot out yet, i would really hope for this site to release one asap
