botting is never "safe" because no matter how good the bot is the users are the retarded ones that go 24/7 and then bitch when they get caught
so much for wow being safer . yeah it seems most bans are around questing profiles was planning to get into wow botting but now i don't know as questing profiles seem offlimits for now
botting is safe its how you use it if you farm 24/7 long expect a ban just adjust a nice time and dont keep farming constantly on the same spots.
if you stuck and run against a wall for 2-3hr a day its not safe. If you are a hunter and fight against a pet for 2-3h a day with melee attacks its not safe. It all depends HOW you but, which custom class you use and which profiles you use Take a look to your bots, don't level without a eye on the bot.
up to 10 hours is safe and then close it for the night then turn it on again for 10hours also pve raiding and arena is safe gathering automatic bg is abit riskier or you need to make your own profiles
Im just telling people who get scared too bot due too the fact of so many other people are blaming the program and not there stupid mistake or just yelling out " O it must be the QUESTING BOT " You cant expect things too run perfect all the time do you? If you think there is nothing wrong with botting 24/7 then you need too rethink. Ive had my Dungeon Buddy Bot running for 8 hours a day for 2 days while watching it when it gets stuck I help it and no one knows I am a bot. If they ask me something I reply, Doing all this while I am studying. And yes you can bot 2-3 hours a day but dont go afk on any botting
This is best answer for those who don't want to lose account I prefer not 24/7 and with profit level more accounts. Ban is less often than making another one.
I haven't posted on the forums that much or even made a forum account up until recently, but i've quested 5-6 characters up to level 80 with this program botting all the way up to 18 hours a day several days in a row and havent had as much as a temporary suspension. You just need to learn how to bot, as stupid as that sounds, its true. All of those people just saying "bot like a human" aren't saying it because it sounds nice, they are saying it because its the truth. If you're an idiot you will get banned. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
imo ... Questing is fine IF you're watching the bot full time and just using it to be able to multi-task. Questing is one of the WORST things to do completely AFK because it is out in the world where other people are going along the -exact- same route as you are. Once you sit there for 10 minutes banging your head into the doorway leading to a quest giver (not just flying into it but trying and failing for minutes to get through it and failing) ... just assume you've been reported. At the very least STOP using the bot for a good long time after that. BG bot? Just avoid it. Only thing I bot would be questing while fully attending the bot ... gathering while keeping an occasional eye on the bot (most places pre-Pandaria that you get stuck when bot gathering are usually high up in the sky) and Archaeology semi-AFK (least safe thing I do). If you're doing ANYTHING semi-AFK and care about your account, run a plugin to log yourself off after X failed attempts to unstuck. Not fool-proof but at least you won't be that idiot that sits there banging into a door for 10 minutes (or over an hour ... I've personally seen obviously stuck bots at a quest hub for over an hour ... that's a stupid botter).
It's not safe. Sell your accounts. Stop botting. Many of the thousands of other people that ask themselves this question should follow in your footsteps. Quickly.
