For best legend farming results, ensure you don't pick up any rares. Just legends. Will speed things up quite a bit. Profile Setup You will need to start a new game at 8.3 The Black Soulstone before starting the profile, it will then RESUME the game from then on so we start inside Vault of the Assassin and never have to search for it in The Desolate Sands again. MP level is set to 1 by default. You may change in the profile XML file. Also, if the gold inactivity timers are triggering too quickly on the dungeon exploration, you can increase that as well in the profile XML. It is set to 15 seconds. May be too short if you die. checking the inigo run profile . had to start on 8th quest . to get checkpoint in vault . if i started on 8.3 i didnt get any checkpoint in there . seems like a awesome profile . hope to get many legends on my p94 monk now =)
It seems to be working great, I'll be using this alot so will report any bugs I find. I have a request for the Inigo run. Is there any way you could make it get the 5 stacks NV before it enters Vault of the Assassin as this would be the true Inigo run ?
maybe easiest fix would to have it go outside of vault just get 5 stacks in desolate sands . and then go back in. or is that something really hard to do ? i suck at xml so i have no idea on how hard it is to make something like that
even if it got 3-4 stack before it went in Vault of the Assassin it would be better, only reason I ask this, is there is ment to be really high drop chance of legendaries in the Vault
Perhaps he updated his run? A post that was given to me specifically had him saying not to bother with NV5? This was the post: "Inigo Run" Best Legendary MF farming route (multiboxing, over 600 elite pack/hr) : Diablo This was his quote: Let me check on the required Quest...maybe it is just 8-1
i think he dont bother with the stacks since he multiboxes . 4 times the loot does the trick but ill keep testing . done 10 runs so far , no legendaries yet .
strange I was sure he did Black Canyon Mines, Road to Alcarnus then Vault of the Assassin on his stream. He will be online soon so ill check it out.
Thanks for making this happen so quick, I just pointed this run out to Magi via pm a couple days ago. Will definitely test it on the weekend. Keep up the good work man! One more thing: Could you add to the first post which DB & Trinity version is the minimum requirement for this? 298+16 won't do I guess!?
Just started trying this one, and it looks very promising, I just have small problem, my bot saves all my legendaries instead of salvaging the crappy ones, on the town run screen, where should I put my sliders to make sure I don't fill up my stash in a couple of hours? or have I missed something else I should have done? EDIT: my stash is already 3/4 full with stuff I can't sell, and I can't make the bot salvage them, how to: plx
haha i just made this profile a few days ago myself after watching the inigo on twitch, but wasn't so effecient for me compared to Ultimate Skyhigh A3 profiles So i tweaked it a bit for Normal Leoric Signet farming... Found 1 in 8 hours on 1 bot, but then none next 16h. If anyone would like the profile i can post it...
nice to see you working on something interesting like this. seeing quite a lot of back tracking in VOTA though? if this was solved it looks promising
j/w whats the point of this profile, as it seems like legendary drops, and what would you recommend over the other? As I honestly tried another profile for a few hours and didn't seem like it was better then running a a3 farm profile.
VotA has a very high concentration of Elites. Specifically for Demonic Essence, this is regarded as one of the best places to hunt for it. Legends...well that could be argued since they have a chance to pop up through anything. As for backtracking, nothing much can be done about that. The problem is elites can lurk in every nook so the code I used to tackle Keeps 2 won't be real effective. It doesn't backtrack much, but doesn't do a thorough explore and you'll miss elites frequently. I've found, what works for humans doesn't always work best for bots. I'll likely try and do some more manual plotting for VotA to see if I can get it a bit more thorough while minimizing backtracking, but for now, Trinity Explore is the best bet for finding all the elites.
when i used to actually play diablo 3, i farmed VOTA. It was incredibly easy to distinguish the layout of the map and there were very few variations. surely this means some kind of sceneid approach would likely be very successful? edit: looks like zoohnoes has done this already
I'll take a look at zoohnoes version and see how well it does. I haven't played through VotA a ton to see how much it really varies, but I do know many of the elites sit in the corners and ends of the scenes so you have to be quite precise to catch them all. I'll report back and see how thorough it is. EDIT - well first run in, looks like he may have missed a spawn point as I entered Vault, and then proceeded to Mines. These random maps can often fool you. Keeps 2 had one exit spawn point that rarely ever spawns...required me to play through it well over 50x before I spotted it. I'll keep running through it and see how it does though. One missed spawn point isn't the end of the world EDIT2 - seems to do a decent job though similar to my initial issue trying to avoid dungeon exploring is it'll miss some of the tight corners where elites can chill. The Trinity dungeon explorer does a fairly decent job here and will get all the corners so I'll probably stick with that for now. You could definitely map it entirely with enough scene checks but that is way too annoying for me to bother with and maintain at the moment. Maybe if I get bored but that code get's pretty fugly quick.
