I've editted your title to something less emotive. If you use the term "ban wave" in a title again, you'll get banned here. You got a 72 hour suspension and the emails has a name on it. Detected bots are instabanned in bulk and the emails do not have names on them. Don't over-react.
Honestly, now I just realised that people are using the wrong wording which got me wrongly informed! If you were just temporarily suspended (24/72 hrs) then is using the words like "Banned" correct? I'm not sure if I'm interpreting it right but to my definition, "Banned" = permanently suspended.
I wish we could run a test and have a bunch of different ppl report a guy for cheating thats not botting and see if hell get banned. I got a 72 hr suspension along time ago before i started botting, i was undercutting glyphs every 5 minutes for about 16 hours straight and I got about 5 tells asking me if i was a bot.. I dont remember the ban template but i got unbanned. im pretty sure those guys reported me cuz i just ignored them all.. if you want to get alot of player reports bgbuddy is the bot to use. There are alot of angry nerds that get off on reporting ppl all day. the first thing ppl do b4 bgs start is eyeball your gear.. if your gear sucks your chances of getting reported are even higher because now your in the spotlight and everyone is mad at you, ive been that guy and i did get banned lol i dinged a dk to 80 from 60* and put him in bgbuddy LOL had like 15k hp vs everyones 100k, banned within 3 days. Until you can write your own profile, the best u can do is change the waypoints in the file that way your not stacking on other bots?
Got the exact same message (and ban ofc) around the same time. It kinda sucks, but on the other side it would be fun to play pvp again without that many bots.
