I think with the new spell, Honorbuddy need new APIs therefore when 5.2 release, we have to wait a few days till HB can attached to WoW. I'll try to code CR so it will be ready when HB ready. Paladin and DK don't need much time but Monk need more attention because of the new spell, new mechanic and class mechanic change.
so does that mean I will have to manually heal on phase 2? If so good job, if no can you explain a bit more
No you will not have to manually it will still heal on it's own He removed the phase 2 special code because it worked well on Tsulong phase 1 but caused the slow healing on everything else. So it just uses it's default healing routine for raids instead of the special one for the Tsulong fight
Little information on user settings: 5.2 is knocking on our doors and blizzard is doing a lot of nerf nerf buff nerf buff nerf rotations on mistweavers on the ptr currently. I'm reading a lot of analytics and maths that top raiders and other players doing for 5.2 and Italien seems that we have to go a "completely" different rotation for fistweaving and healing overall. Since jab now costs 18k mana per jab you can simply go suicide Ifo you do jab jab uplift jab jab uplift anymore. Also we currently lacking alternative chi generators in 5.2 that are near jab and So it could take a bit time to find a good rotation + settings in 5.2. Pls appreciate any delay on setting releases
The mana cost of Jab is a joke on PTR atm. Why cant we have a chi generation system like the Hunters focus but at a slower rate maybe!
The bot gets stuck attacking enemy players for some reason. I'm on a PVE realm, and it will keep trying to attack unflagged enemy players.
Hey TunaHA, I just created a fresh monk, planing on levelling it as a Mistweaver, so I have the gear to heal dungeons as well as have a decent survivability. (we'll see how that goes at the higher levels, but at level 10, I'm really tough to kill for mobs). Anyway, I tweaked the settings so that it will actually attack as a mistweaver, works fine. However, despite having all the movement settings enabled, that doesn't seem to work. While questing the bot selects a point to run to. If my character gets attacked on the way to that point, I'd expect it to set a new destination: the attacking mob (as it does in Windwalker and Brewmaster), yet it keeps running to that point selected earlier. Second problem, the CC doesn't turn my character, unless the angle between me and the mob is so that I can strike it. I've tested this a few times and if the mob isn't already in front of me, my character just stands there until it's health drops below the healing threshold, it heals then just stands there. I'm attaching my log and CC settings, for obvious reasons I took the characters name out of the filename. View attachment TuanHA-Monk-Settings-20130123-######.xml View attachment Mistweaver.txt
Absolutely this. There's a lot of discussion going on right now about how exactly MWs are supposed to work in 5.2 given all (and especially the most recent) patch notes going crazy. The consensus, at the moment, seems to be a resounding "WTF??" It seems as though mistweaving and fistweaving are becoming entirely different beasts that are no longer able to be intertwined as they are now to give the most efficient healing. I expect it will be some time before a new rotation is figured out, let alone coded. That being said, would it be possible (perhaps) to release a ranged healing only version before the whole thing is done, at least to tide us over? Healing from ranged seems to be largely the same, when compared to melee healing, and anything that could put out OK numbers would be sufficient for a few days while you code the main thing. I figure most monks are gonna be kind of confused for the first week after the patch, and numbers will probably drop across the board while the new system is learned, so it wouldn't be noticed that much. Just a thought, if it's not workable that's fine, just throwing it out there.
Ranged version should be absolutely no problem, because blizzard is only changing the melee healing, as it seems right now. I think when HB is ready and the current monk 2.0 is working without problems you could try to run the normal mixed-style settings that are currently contained in the User settings folder and it should be like it is now if you do range healing. But this is not for 100% sure untill 5.2 is released on live client.
18k mana for jab.. no 1% mana from tiger.. only 2% from something muscle.. WTF? How we can heal with all of this changes...
I was figuring/hoping (or somewhere in between) that this was going to be more or less the case, but it's nice to hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
If I was you just use brewmaster to quest I do that on my monk I'm leveling currently and it will still kill fast with my mistweaver gear cause I run dungeons while I'm home as a mist
Not sure what happened to this cc over the last couple weeks, but as Windwalker I can't even use this anymore for questing. It attacks enemy players in towns, fights with guards, and won't pull or approach many of the mobs it needs to kill. I've had to switch to Singular for questing.
Search the thread but didnt find an answer. Im having a problem with the CC on amber-shaper in heart of fear for Windwalker. Its not attacking people who are turned into mutated constructs. Just auto attacks, ive been having to use CLU cc for the fight. Any ideas if a fix is in the works?
