[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

You're most likely being reported. Probably by another botter, your competition. Also running the stock-standard AHBuddy in any of the main cities for more than a few re-list-cycles is foolish, it uses the same path over and over, same auctioneer over and over it's very noticeable to anyone watching.

Yeah.. Except I'm not running a stock-standard AHBuddy in any of the main cities, using the same paths or auctioneers over and over. I don't have a 'static' set time between cycles. I also don't post everything all at once.

Oh and I haven't been banned either. Not for any of the botting I take part in. Ever.

Many people using the same thing, looks suspicious, leads to bans. Vs A few people doing similar things, less suspicious, less bans.

One group just puts in more effort than the other, I guess a simple way to put it is that they're playing smarter.

Tell ya right now that you don't have a official copy. IF you have a copy it is the FREE framework or is a OLD copy ... and you got it from a 3rd party.

So don't comment on things you don't know.

FURTHERMORE... Trade-Omation is not built to compete in same bracket as AH buddy it is for farmers ONLY it does not deal with "playing AH" as AHBuddy in the same fashion It is only built to play with ah for very specific items being herbs and ore and then only if you have a trade skill. (or pretend you have one to play the market volatility of the herb markets.)

This is the AHBuddy thread.

This post will most likely be removed as well. But I'll say it again, the free version of Trade-Omation is very limited and likely only exists to circumvent forum rules any of the 'features' advertised require an incredibly huge payment (not donation) of $50. And it rewards results that can be easily matched by a well set-up AHBuddy, which is free in it's whole entirety.

Furthermore, I hope to soon release a free-for-all AHBuddy auto-populator. An on-line application that only requires your Realm, Faction and personal TUJ key, no payments. Which will auto-populate prices based on the market data (supplied by TUJ) for your realm and faction.

It may also include features I'm currently working on including:
. Random wait times between cycles - To appear less bot-like.
. Maximum (set random range) of total items to post during one session - To avoid over-populating the AH and looking non-human.
. Random paths between Auctioneer, Mailbox, Bank and Guild Bank. Including random auctioneer interaction. - Again to avoid looking non-human.
. Several other things I'd personally find useful.

However, if posts keep being deleted for honest reviews of other peoples work I doubt I'll actually share it here.

I am currently about to test it. But there is something I want to ask everyone.

As for security to have a lower probability not to be banned by abuse for economy, its better to mail only within an account. That's my point. If you have a other opinion,I'd like to know.

If I understand it right, the AH Buddy is only posting any item it got from mail. That means what I craft from other accounts, I have to send them per mail to AH Buddy account. So if I craft an epic shoulder I have to send them from the shuffle acc to ahbuddy account.

Q: Is it possible that Ahbuddy get the items (like the shoulder enchant) from gbank to post it in AH without editing AHbuddy?

Q: Don't you think it is more secure to send mail only between 2 chars on the same account?

 

Is it posible to remove moving action complitly? I mean what i would like is to move manuali from mailbox to AH... Reason is i got teleported by GM to one of Orgrimar towers and bot started to run into wall..... Lucky for me i noticed it in a second and after lenghty discusion with GM convinced him iam inocent -.-

So any ideas? I tryed to disable bot movement to force him stand in place but funny thing started to spin in circles.... I also tryed to open bot config but honorbudy crashes every time i do that.

It is very easy to add items, mate!

Here is what you need to add to AHBuddy.xml in order to sell Desecrated Herb.

You can change the price, amount of stacks to post, and undercut yourself. All I did was find the ItemID by Googling "Desecrated herb" and taking the ID from WoWhead.com. Desecrated Herb - Item - World of Warcraft

You can Google any item or look it up on Wowhead: Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down. in order to get the ItemID you need. Once you have that, it's just a matter of renaming it and changing the variables to fit your needs.



As an added bonus, I'm sharing what you need to add in order to sell the epic Inscription enchants on using AHBuddy.

I'll break down how to edit AHBuddy.xml for you.

There is a lot of stuff up at the top that you don't have to edit. What you do need to edit in the file is further down and it starts listing all of the things that AHBuddy is set up to sell on the AH. Let's use the Greater Ox Horn Inscription
epic Inscription enchant.

So, the first line is just the name of the item and can be edited because it is commented out and isn't processed by HB.

The first thing in the second line that matters is "RunTime="_12_Hours"". If you want to put your item(s) on the AH for longer than 12 hours, you will change the 12 to 24 or 48.
The second thing that matters is the ItemID. This is just the ID of the item you're selling. You can find this ID on Wowhead: Never underestimate the power of the Scout's code.. Just search for your item and it will be in the URL. This doesn't need to be edited.
The third thing that matters is "MinBuyout="150g0s0c"". This is the minimum price that you would like to sell your item at. If it falls below this price, it will no longer post it on the AH.
The fourth thing that matters is "MaxBuyout="400g0s0c"". This is the max price that you would like to sell your item at. If there are no other items that you're selling on the AH at that time, it will sell it at this price.
The fifth thing that matters is "StackSize="1"". This defines the stack size for the item you're selling. Since I'm selling single shoulder enchants, I have it set at 1 for this item. If you're selling herbs or ore, this will be at 20.
The sixth thing that matters is "IgnoreStackSizeBelow="1"". This just tells the bot to ignore stacks of the item you're selling below a certain number. For ore and herbs, this is set to 20 so that it doesn't list stacks of 16 or 19 or whatever.
The seventh thing that matters is "Amount="5"". This tells the bot how many of a certain item you want to list on the AH at a time. So, if you want 10 stacks of herbs at a time, you'd set this to 10.
The eighth thing that matters is "UndercutPrecent="5.0000"". Yes, it is misspelled in the .xml file, so don't correct it. This is how much you want the bot to undercut the competition when it lists items. I set it to 5% most of the time.
The ninth thing that matters is "PostIfBelowMinBuyout="False" />". This can be set to "True" if you want the bot to continue to undercut the competition below the amount you set in "MinBuyout="150g0s0c"".

I will explain one more thing about pricing that seems to trip a lot of people up and confused me in the beginning.

We'll take Ghost Iron Ore as our example. Since we're selling stacks of 20 Ghost Iron Ore, we want to set the MinBuyout and MaxBuyout to a gold price that reflects the price of each individual ore in the stack.

So, if we want our stack of Ghost Iron Ore to sell for a MinBuyout of 40g and MaxBuyout of 80g, this is how those values would look.

As you can see, MinBuyout is set to 2g0s0c which means each individual ore is priced at 2g, so the stack will sell for 40g minimum. Similarly, MaxBuyout is set to 4g0s0c, so the stack will sell for 80g max.

I went to sleep last night with 9k on my AH toon and I woke up this morning with 23k on him.

I sell a lot of different things and most of them are expensive, so that is pretty common.

Where is the code to expand buying or posting time ?
If I set up AH buddy to buy herbe, it seems that it only buys and never get to post.

 

Ive spent like an hour trying to figure this whole thing out. i have everything set up but i just cannot fill out the prices for items.

do i have to do all 398020929309023903290 items one by one? is the bot going to just buy everything and sell like crazy? I am just very confused and the first post has next to no instruction.

I will pay cash for someone to make me a profile for my server to work off of...pm me.

 

If I want it to buy all ghost iron ore for less than 3g per piece, how do I set it up?

 

I also am stuck in the cycle of being the lowest priced item but my bot will cancel the auction and re-post to the same price over and over! How do I fix this?
