for full info. getting this error with buddywing on one of my machines, anyone else? Anyone know how to fix?
downloaded new client and it seems to be working, but first mob it targetted went blue, so i had to manually walk up to it.
This is a problem the game has sometimes. However, if the target is listed in your profile, the bot should facilitate an approach and attack anyway (just give it a minute). If that doesn't happen, then your problem is likely some kind of connectivity issue (like a lag spike); restarting the bot usually fixes this problem, providing the connectivity issue has been resolved.
No fix here but this error pisses me off so bad, it is so annoying and renders the bot nearly useless when i get stuck in the loop. closing and reopening buddywing does nothing to fix, it, restarting the game doesnt work, rebooting does from time to time and deleting settings folder never worked for me either. Complete reinstall of buddywing and a reboot is usually all that fixes it for me, and then it comes back next time BW crashes. The problem is with some characters like smuglers/ snipers BW crashes more than once an hour so its a real pain in the ass to level one. I tried both default and wingit and they both are very unstable with these classes
Its not the settings folder that you need to clear, its the CompiledAssemblies How are you using the bot to level? Which class, which combat routine and in which manner do you interact? I noticed there was an additional update to BW just put out, perhaps it resolves the error
Dev it only happens sometimes when i kick the bot of, so its managable, i just wait to see if it goes blue, would say 1 out of 5-10 times it does it, so its not that bad. The exeption i got, was with the buddywing i fuked around with alot, that i use personally, but it seemed to have rectified itself Cheers for the info though mate
