Should we just stop using it at least until 5.2 comes out? My main 2 reasons for botting are honor and gold (gatherbuddy) and it seems for both the reports are being actioned at an alarming level. Like iv never seen before to be honest. The risk / reward is pretty is terrible right now. So im stopping until 5.2. I hope the devs work on BGbuddy because its the main reason i bot. Do you guys think the bans will slow down a bit after 5.2?
Thats what I'm planning to do im not claiming some ban wave but, defiantly something has changed in the past 1-2 weeks, I disregard people saying "its normal" because if you see the posts they have increased about X3 if you back to page like 28 in the ban section there are 3 different days on that page... now if you check yesterdays bans only, they cover about a page or two. Just my observation and after botting with around 9 accounts my main and a mule account which have nothing to do with each other ingame activities both got banned in a span of half a day, main for ICC 1-80 grind other BGbuddy. So i suspect something is up forever or until after the patch, I cant say but wont be using honorbuddy until the chain gets loosened. I also would like to know if someone has experienced the same type of bot recession did blizzard ever "slow down" after mass bannings? or is this new? (Banning heavily and accurately)
Inbefore someone claims this is all player reports again. the bot itself isnt detected, but prolly its movement patterns can be. So many players claim to be teleported, and the ban rate is going up fast.First it was only bg's that where heavy targeted, now its farmers aswell, private profiles and public ones. Note that we only see those that report on the forum. There could be way way more that dont bother to come here and just sacrifice another sor. I wouldnt bot on anything you value untill this blows over or gets sorted in any way.
Well for one, the risk / reward ratio will be much better. New better pvp gear for honor farming, and changes to professions such as blacksmithing (u can level 1-600 with just ghost iron bars). Meaning ghost iron bars and ore prices will skyrocket. Doesn't mean you'll be less likely to get banned but every time you do bot you'll get more value out if it. If that makes sense. If you're botting this week and u get banned, its pretty dumb imo.
