Arcana - Lazyraider/Raidbot Arcane Mage CC

i cant figure out how to make this work on hb?

I cant get it to load the profile??

How do i make Lazyraider work with this?

 

Copy the folder of the starting post into your Combat routine Folder.

(There are at least 10 other Threads where it is explained.)

 

been looking for like 3 hours and havent found any that are helpful. cant find a combat routine folder either

 

You dont have a "Routines" folder in your Honorbuddy folder?

4- use engineering belt frag belt. its not click it needs to be thrown at focus. If you can just give me the command line and where to add it ill do that instead of you updating for only this

in spite the fact that I'm not new on this (have a hunter working great with Lazy Raider), i'm only starting now to do Dungeon heroics and LFR with my Arcane Mage.

So i had leveling and so forth, which is no big deal, but now I would like to use Lazy Raider also on this char.

From what i gather Arcana seems to be the best combat routine so far, but i reckon it's a bit raw in terms of editing the combat routine settings. I've been using it for a week now, and I find it good (been doing same dps as some arcane mages 10 ilvls higher than me), but i would like to tweak it more.

Having also trouble on pulls, since i wear a dagger/off-hand combo, and arcana just stays there telling that I'm too far away.

The pull should always be a castable attack and not a melee (even if you have melee weapons).

Other thing i noticed is that Arcana does not consider the Dungeon Heroic bosses as bosses, and therefore does not pops the cooldowns. Which is no biggy, but could be resolved.

I like this, but i guess i'm used to a more elaborate CC for the Hunter, and any upgrades on the Arcana CC UI will be much welcome.

Sorry for the wall of text, but overal I'm happy with this CC.

Hello rochamarques,
Arcana is a non-AFK raiding routine. No movement, no Pull, no Range check as stated at OP.
It's aimed for use with lazyraider on raiding environments therefore do not support 5-man dungeons.
I will update this into a new UI & more options also new keybinding modes and it is almost finished. Unfortunately I don't have access to a wow account atm.
So this new update will be a bit late probably. However there will be no support for these checks.

about the 5 man dungeon just thought it was bugged, but now i see.

i am also happy that work is being done on this and it is not a dead project, since it is a good CR.

Does not even attack just sits there and does nothing. Even after i start a attack manually.

 

Notice today that on Elegon it tries to continuously cast Rune of Power while inside the ring of energy.

Also seems to not use the Flashfrozen Resin Globule but I'm going to test it further. On dummy does not cast it at all.

 

That is not from Arcana. For some reason sometimes you are bugged if you are in the circle and cast rune of power, you look up and notice you dont have the effect. You need to go out and cast it inside from outside.
What happens with the Arcana is the bot doesnt detect the rune of power so it keeps recasting it.

I really Hope that OP fixes this routine for the new changes in 5.2

what rotations should intially look like now

Execute the following priority for optimal DPS.

Nether Tempest maintain at all times.
Arcane Missiles when you have 2 charges saved.
Arcane Barrage with 4 Arcane Charge.
Arcane Blast to build Arcane Charge.

The goal of the Arcane Mage DPS rotation is to stay above 80% Mana as much as possible for the damage buff from Mastery: Mana Adept. To execute the Arcane DPS rotation, apply and maintain Nether Tempest on your target. After that, cast Arcane Missiles whenever you have a 2nd charge stored. Use Arcane Barrage when you have 4 Arcane Charge. Build Arcane Charge by casting Arcane Blast as a filler ability. In addition to executing the DPS priority, you should always remain within a Rune of Power to maximize your Mana regen and DPS.

Agreed. I still plan on playing my arcane mage even with the nerf (which feels pretty brutal so far). Any chance we can get a ETA on changes? (donations incoming )

 

As I stated in a previous post I no longer have access to a 90 mage nor a WoW account so I can not update this.

So I love this routine and it sucks that didn't work in 5.2 with the modifications to the class. So basically I tweaked it to where it works for me as an arcane mage. I'm not here to support it and I don't promise it'll work for anyone else. I made it so it'll work specifically for my needs and didn't test anything else. I wasn't going to share it originally but thought maybe it'll work for someone else and help them out. Enjoy.

I've got Rune of Power and Nether Tempest as my two talents that should matter and in the settings for Arcana make sure you have Arcane Barrage enabled with a stack setting of 4.

I take no credit whatsoever for this, the only thing I did was literally strip out any old stuff that doesn't work or apply anymore and adjust some settings in the .cs file.

 

Tried it, cant get it to cast arcane barrage ever and yes it is enabled with a stack setting of 4.

Im new over here and i was asking my self how to install this file ?

 

You basically need to download de zip and extract it.

Then copy the Arcana folder to you Honorbuddy/Routines folder.

When you log in Honorbuddy it will show in the available Combat Routines to choose along side with other CR you might have (namely Singular).
