Not even one day has past since patch-day, what do you expect? It will work in time, just wait.

You people kill me... What do you do? Sit around on the forums to bitch at people for posting a bug? Some people may not have been around to experience a new patch and dont know that it takes about a day for it to be updated. I mean why get mad? Did this individual waste your time? Did he/she harm you or your family. I think not. Do something more useful with your time instead. This goes for Dev/Mods. If you make a sticky post along the lines of: Sorry HB is down do to the patch update. Please be patient with us while we are updating HB. In the meantime keep all your post about bugs logged until further notice. When HB is fully operational test it out and if you find bugs at this point post them in the appropriate sections.

I fall under that category. How long typically does it take for all the new locations to get added to the mesh?

But you should be informed about the Bot you use. And as someone who is informed you should know that HB is using Meshes which need to be generated by the Devs. And if there is a new and unknown Area the Bot simply crashes. Its an unknown MapID and there are no Meshes.

The meshes will be automatically ready when the Devs release the latest stable HB Revision. My experience says that it take approx. 1 Week. Sometimes they are faster and done in 1-2 Days. It depends.

I know how long it takes, but unfortunately some people don't. Either way it does't mean you have to be a dick to someone who is ignorant.

I thought the mesh would have been picked up or made from the ptr, so lighten up foo. Frigin people have nothing better to do than tear a strip off someone.

if its a new area it will need to be meshed. it wont be meshed till we get a new stable build out.
if your using a beta build dont expect it to work.

Pretty much this. I would love for someone (probably a dev) to enlighten me (us) as to why it takes so long? It's not like this is brand new, the PTR has been active for quite some time. How is it possible that UI devs, mod devs etc are able to release working versions of their free product the day before or on patch day, yet we have to wait?

I agree with a previous poster, in that an explanation or warning etc would save a lot of grief. My questions above are genuine and not trolling, I am happy to be educated on why it takes so long and I'm sure others would appreciate the insight.

Am I the only one that thinks that it's just common courtesy at the minimum, but not an unrealistic expectation that if we pay or donate then we're entitled to get some support in return? Or am I missing something here?

I appreciate that it takes a lot of time and effort and I'm grateful for that because I enjoy HB immensely :)

even when we take the time to make a sticky no one reads them anyway and we still have to go around in every thread and explain that the BOT IS NOT UPDATED and will not work with the latest version of wow.

in fact this time ive had LESS explaining without the sticky.

as i said before the area should be meshed by the time a stable build is released.
