Well, I know the moderators insist that Honorbuddy is still safe. But I say the bans beg to differ... Am I wrong? Should we start taking some new precautions, and what do all the bans have in common?
Can you people please stop making threads like this over and over, I have seen already like 1000 threads about "I noticed there have been a lot of bans lateley bla-di-yada". If you bot, you take the risk to get caught and banned. The moderators have never said its safe to bot. You bot at your own risk and if a random player reports you, you face the risk of getting banned. Now be gone kid and someone close this thread please.
Kind sir, it seems like the point went over your head... Yes getting an occasional ban is, well, occasional... But what we have now seems almost like a banwave.. Some people were banned within hours of using the bot for the first time, or on completely new accounts, with very few hours played.
I think anyone that has used hb b4 mop knows that something is not right. Unfortunately i don't think any hb staff actually bots at least nothing more then casual.
I wish it were a joke.. I mean honorbuddy is great but there are several bugs and failures with the bot that go on for months without being fixed that are a major nuisance to anyone that uses the bot.. one of the most ovbious ways that anyone who even bots can notice is by how buggy the questing profiles are.. do you guys just not ever get banned or why arent you leveling new characters? With all the problems in just kicks questing profiles do you really level characters with that and ignore the bugs or do you fix them on the spot? i can tell you if you were actually leveling chracters you would fix them on the spot and they would not persist for months on end. Do you use gatherbuddy2? is gatherbuddy really acceptable to you as a gold farmer? with it flying around like a bee around a flower and finally landing on it 20 seconds later? Do you use bgbuddy? do you really allow your bot to grab a soulstone everytime someone drops it or follow along the same paths as other botters? i really cant even mention all the things wrong with professionbuddy and dungeonbuddy but atleast it is progressing but not in a manner as if there were a bunch of devs using it on a daily basis, some bugs are still there since i started using pb.
and id really like to know why no hb staff would even offer their 2 cents on the amount of bans happening recently.. i mean i use to go for almost a year with no bans and now i cant go 1 week, whats going on?!?
I would like a message from bossland about all this to be honest. At the end of the day if something is wrong then we need to know about it.
in thats case ,provide me the links of the threads you have opened under support section reporting those bugs devs are working on fixes already tho
i doubt he has something different to say than the rest crew...the ban rate is the usual ban rate more botters=more bans,thats a rule
It's allways funny to read threads like this one... I'm in botting since nearly 3 years now... It earned me 2 PC's, a new Notebook and my iPad and the only ban I got was when I traded like 2mil gold over one account within 1hour and it didn't even hurt me... I don't know what other people do wrong... probably the problem is that all these people are expecting too much from the Devs... I mean they never told that they'll provide a "one-click-money-print-program"... When I started back in 2010 I can remember that the questing module just came out of it's booties and everyone was happy that here and there a quest could be done by the bot and if something went wrong the community stuck together to get it fixed... nowadays everyone is just blaming the devteam... most of these people don't even know how easy it today is to create own personal and more safe profiles than 2-3years ago... Indeed it takes some time and effort to get into writing good profiles... but as everyone or even most of them expect to earn money with botting they should probably first work on theire skills to get the bussiness running... In reallife there is nobody that is doing the work for your living, too... just my five cents to this global topic and a big thx to the dev team, all the moderators and the old community that helped my to get into all of this!!! so long... /cheers B!!!
