      hey,

Brodieman does your SVN update automatically?

Also is it worth deleting HB and downloading it each day for updates?

      thanks

It updates when I make changes.
And as long as you delete:
      Hb\cache
      Hb\CompiledAssemblies
      HB\Logs
Before each day, you'll be fine.

I'm getting this error and the bot stopped when it was trying to do the Order of the Cloud Serpent daily Just a flesh wound: "Bot Stopped! Reason: Could not create 'CurrentBehavior' in quest bot; an exception was thrown: Could not find file 'C:\Users\My Computer\Desktop\HBD\Quest Behaviors\CastSpell.cs'."

If you use a copy HB folder, it should never be used for questing, and can be copied daily. I tested this morning that having 1 folder works fine so long as you delete the Cache and Compiled Assemblies folder before you start for the day. Delete the logs folder too after a while to save on space.

I'll double check QuestIds on that quest. A lot of the horde is copy/paste from alliance as the only differences is turnin locations and id numbers.

Make sure you placed quest behaviors from my SVN into your quest behaviors folder, otherwise it won't find it. The proper path is written in the error message you sent me.

It's all a matter of personal preference. I do the copy/paste method to insure a "fresh" copy everyday specifically for testing, but I do know that deleting cache works for the "quest skipping" issue.

Hey everyone, just a quick update on the Isle of Thunder progression:

As of today, my server has reached 97% and will most likely hit 100% to phase 1 within the next few hours. I am currently holding back my personal testing on this today until phase 2 opens.
According to my research, phase 2 unlocking involves 1 solo scenario (which I believe is meshed, but don't hold me to that) which then unlocks an additional hub to each side, with 5 new quests to rotate thru. From what I hear as well, the boats will be gone, and a more permanent base will be created for each faction. If your faction hits phase 2 before I can get this in, DO NOT QQ!! Both Horde and Alliance profiles will need to be recoded to accomidate for the new areas, and a lot of determination code will need to be implemented in order to assure those of you on phase 1 are still grinding, and those on phase 2+ can continue on.

As Each phase unlocks on my server, I will be overhauling the profiles to get them to working order. HOWEVER, if your server moves faster than mine...then...well...courage ;) I'm on a full pop server so grinding the meters is very easy (even with only 64% participation).

Just another reminder to any and everyone using/testing the Isle of Thunder dailies profiles: If you run into a problem, if you find yourself running into walls, hills, or objects, or if a quest is "broken" (and that's broken in the terms that the bot can't complete it on its own without MAJOR interaction (a simple move 1 inch does not break a quest)) then please post on this forum, with NO LESS than a log file for bugs, and 2 screenshots for stucks! (1 shot of the stuck spot, and 1 shot of your map where it is) And don't forget to Alt-Z your UI so all your personal info is hidden. Failure to submit pertinent information (and please, I'll be the judge of what is and isn't), will result in your posting being ignored...or rediculed for mine and other devs' enjoyment. PLEASE! DON'T BECOME MY REASON FOR FEELING GOOD! ;)

      KCCO and happy grinding!

P.S. If you aren't already exalted, check out my The Black Prince grinding profile under Grinding on the SVN. Use it under Questing, it will grind your rep for you. Enable looting, and it becomes a key grind for the solo looting scenario! (Loot disabled by default, intended as Rep first). Happy RNGs!

I have noticed when it completes daily's in one area it moves on to another by it self, is it suppose to do this?

A couple of people had asked for a simple version of my daily batch file.

      This requires
      1) Create a directory called Hbstuff (Mine is on my d: drive, d:\hbstuff)
      2) SVN checkout for brodie's dailies in d:\hbstuff\thebrodiemanproductions (TortoiseSVN must be installed and TortoiseProc.exe in your PATH)
      3) Latest honorbuddy is downloaded to d:\hbstuff and renamed to hb_latest.zip
      4) An old copy of your globalsettings.xml is in d:\hbstuff
      5) 7zip is installed in C:\program files\7-zip\7z.exe

This batch file makes a fresh copy of honorbuddy in d:\hbstuff\hb with the plugins and quest behaviors copied over for you.

      Code:
      @echo off
      TortoiseProc.exe /command:update /path:"D:\hbstuff\TheBrodieManProductions" /closeonend:1
      D:
      cd hbstuff
      rmdir /S /Q "HB"
      mkdir HB
      "c:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" x hb_latest.zip -oD:\hbstuff\hb
      mkdir "D:\hbstuff\hb\settings"
      copy GlobalSettings.xml "D:\hbstuff\HB\settings"
      robocopy /s /XO /np "D:\HBStuff\TheBrodieManProductions\Plugins" "D:\hbstuff\HB\Plugins"
      robocopy /s /XO /np "D:\HBStuff\TheBrodieManProductions\Quest Behaviors" "D:\hbstuff\hb\Quest Behaviors"

Anyone know what this error is:

Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

I get this when running the dailys, it still does the dailys for me.
