So as the title says I'm returning after a year of inactivity. Not sure how many will remember me mainly from the IRC. So what exactly have I missed in terms of WoW botting since January 2012? I still have a lot of Cata mats and a couple cut gems. Planning on using the materials to atleast level me up slightly in my professions. In terms of botting on a larger scale or in terms of the economy has anything massive happened during my inactivity (except MoP release obviously)?
I only came back to hit level cap and gold cap. I also miss making profiles for HB so will need to start that also. Played EVE for a while but the bots for EVE are beyond terrible. So will my old GB2 profiles from Cata still work or has the profile layout changed at all?
I doubt they will work, but I don't write profiles so could not tell you. The gold cap will probably hit, you before you hit the gold cap if you get what I'm saying.
Not sure I quiet understand, I assume it's much easier to make gold now than it used to be? (even though it was already easy)
Economy has less places to dump mats, there is more nodes, and many things like flasks only need half the mats that they did in cata to make them.
