It is a RaF account, which I used to level with my roommmate manually without any bots. The E-Mail was sent and said the account ban was due to Exploitative Activity. I was leveling my mining 1-600 by hand and got DC'ed and logged in to see that the account was closed. The account has about 6 days played time on it, and like I said, I've only used Gatherbuddy twice and BGBuddy a few times. Is there any chance that I could get this appealed?
This list of Questions 1-11 is what Blizz asks you when you appeal or its a questionaire for Honorbuddy to gain a general idea of what actions are being band?
I'm pretty sure if you used this form to appeal you'd be SOL. This is a form for the Honorbuddy forums.
You can always send in an email and say something along the lines of, "Hey there, I was leveling my mining slowly and was suddenly disconnected to find out I was banned. The following email mentioned something about exploiting the economy? I certainly have never sold gold or purchased gold, so I'm a little unsure why I have being banned?" You know, the play innocent, ask why you were banned and see what they say. If you don't have much luck with that, you could always call them up as well - they can't actually DO anything on the phone, but for some reason I always found my tickets were answered quicker after a phone call and if the Customer Service rep I spoke too was positive, then the GM response was usually very positive as well. I've had those bans over turned - it was the "Hacks" ban that I could never get over turned and therefore lost my first botting account to it.
You probably will get it unbanned easily if u weren't botting at the time it was banned. If it was disconnected while you were botting there is almost no chance of getting that reversed.
Fact is blizz doesnt need to see you online when you get banned and it makes no difference to your appeal they have multiple ways of suspecting or dectecting you are banned.
I don't know on one of my accounts I was botting with gathering. Then I went to playing manually during the gathering exploit were you could farm the same node 10 times. It was nice because on the same golden lotus I could get a full stack! So I was exploiting manually playing the game on an account that had been botting, It was perma banned when I was offline, few hours after they hotfix the exploit. I appealed it the next day and the account representative had me changed my password and it was back up and running. So in the end I guess I got extremely lucky since I was breaking the TOS really hard.
Yes they are "very" smart and look ingame time/ ingame ach/points.... I am very sure that you can ding 90 lvl and only farm. After that is matter of time when they gona ban you just for farming all day. But YES, they use this method.
its a fine bussiness to ban botters and force them to buy new accounts 55 euros just to buy the game, right ? if i had a company like bliz I would invest in that section.....
There's only one issue with your sentence, and it's a glaring issue. Almost like if you put a pink goat in the middle of a conference room, someone is going to notice it. The bolded statement automatically implies you know about the underground world of WoW. You know there are gold sellers and buyers, which most people do but most people don't know what gets you banned for abuse of the economy. Most people don't even know how to tell what a bot is, and you have to play that dumb. You have to play so dumb that they think they made the mistake because there is no way you could have worked a bot. Please note that you should not use BGBuddy ever.
