      Ok I posted this a little earlier in another thread but noones going to see it in the sea of bans.

      I used to think it was impossible for them to track down the bot but maybe they are, do you think coords could be tracked?

      With Kick's all the coords are the same and the xml is opensource and easy to compare with where people are going, with a gather profile (even a custom one) they can see people hitting the same spot at regular intervals or they can see the paths are the same after a while. Im not sure how much info blizzards servers can collect on anyone but this seems to be a plausable server side non invasive completely legal way to find someone whos botting.

      Lemme know what you think

      All this information is on their end and really just needs a bit of code to keep it all tracked (if it wasnt being already)

      I don't think so. If they bann all bots (what they could do if they want) the world of warcraft would be empty.^^ They most bann people that were reported a hundred times to not blame theirself. I bet much reports are from other boters. They make more gold if you get banned and they know how to identify HB (when I used it the first time, I was wondering how many bots I saw and I didn't notice before).

      I don't think anyone here really knows how they catch botters, but I think you guys give them lots of good ideas if they ever come to read this forum. :-( No Blizzard employeed in his right mind would ever buy a bot from HB or any other botting company. If they get caught they lose their job, and they get paid fairly well considering the limited education they demand of their employees. I have known four Blizzard employees. None of those four had any education higher than high school diploma. I'm guessing that Blizzard has some programmers working for them that are better educated, but these guys were all Game Masters making between double and triple minimum wage. Their pay scale was based on the amount of time they have worked for Blizz. I guarantee they never fooled around with a bot program. They know they would have a difficult time finding a job that paid them that well.

      I had lunch with two of them along with their boss one day. When anyone mentioned a bot or a hack they would pretend to spit on the floor. :) It was hilarious. They know that bots exist, but they refused to discuss any of that in front of me. I certainly did not mention anything about my own botting. If they found out, I am pretty sure I would be ostracized. :)

      I hate to break it to you, but I can pretty much assure you that Blizzard has purchased bots from all of the companies to see exactly how they are working to improve detection. You don't think so? Come on.

      I don't know what h24 is but I'm sure ctm and regular wasd movement is discernable. Not that ctmmeans anyone is botting by any means but as 100% of botters use ctm its definately an indicator.

      we can all go there and talk about how nothing significant is happening and safe and secure we are botting.

      24-hour clock

      h24 = 24 hours = a full day.

      Shouldnt this be pretty simple to test? 2 accounes, 2 different machines, 2 different Servers. Same bot settings, class, race, faction, same profile on all 4. Set it to play like a normal player. Sunday - Thursday 17-1815, 1920-2205. Friday-Saturday 17-1815, 1855-2359. Maybe skip one day. Use AH manually.

      Im also think it is player reports, and most likely from other botters using the same profile.

      EDIT: Screw it:

      Challenge_accepted.jpg

      I do not have time to play on my main anyways at the moment, and it could be fun to bot for real again :p

      Well, the fastest way to level alts is to run them through dungeons by main (yeah, you need 2 accs for that). No player will observe / report you there. I wonder if Honorbuddy is suitable for this kind of entertainment.
