Testing now. Updating post later. Still problems with both dispelling & swiftmend requiring a target. - I just had a zone-change error. It happened 1/5 times (leaving a LFR group). Would be nice to hear from other MAD users if they still experience the zone-change error. Amputations: have you experienced it since new Developer SVN? Testing MAD vs Other CR's at the moment on "The Stone Guard" LFR boss. NO CD's WILL BE USED IN THE COMPARISON TEST. AS LITTLE MOVEMENT AS POSSIBLE (TO MAKE SURE REGROWTHS DOESN'T GET CANCELED TOO OFTEN (MANUAL CONTROL BY ME))
jacob have you tested in normal ToT yet? I can imagine you do most testing through LFR but just curious! ^^
Yes I have tested it on the two first bosses on normal ToT. But yeah you are right, most testing are in LFR's, but I'm in a progressing guild, so ToT will be tested more frequently in the near future. - I just had a zone-change error. yeah I can confirm that I'm getting crashes every time I zone from old world to pandaria or from any dungeon back to pandaria.
Currentl using updated dev version and still getting lag running lfr 25 man raid setting on 60tps with framelock on. only seems to lag when framelock is turned.
All healing routines lag with framelock, because healing routines have more scanning than DPS ones. I've tried 4 different healing CR's, and you just have to live with it mate. Try 30 TPS Framelock. It's still good performance
Also, make sure that you have all of your Graphic settings at the lowest. That makes me able to go 2x as high.
Some quick funny history. Last week i got my account ban, not from botting, but because i got my account hack and blizz ban it for "abusing the economy" i assume because the hacker sold gold to flag accounts. As i'm out of account to play (raiding as fury warrior and resto shaman) my Guild masters last night had some real life issues and we were short on one healer to run ToT, so he ask me to log his account and heal as i could. Heres the funny part, i have some knowledge in healling but i havent play with resto druid since Cata, so i come here to MAD for some extra help. Result? All my guild got amazed! Ended some fights ahead of Disc priest and Holy pala with similar gear level. One last thing, the pala (RL friend) is using tuanha and i suspect the Disc is using PQR So +rep!
I'm getting the same felling. Some of my guild mates already admit using bot's to leveling but i suspect most of them raid using some sort of "helper". Thats not a god news, because is shows that the players are getting very bot dependent and sooner or lather blizz will find a way to end it.
If blizzard ends it, they will lose a lot of money. And over the last couple of years, blizzard has become very greedy. That is why so many botters get 72 hour bans instead of permanents the first time they get busted. - That way, blizzard can keep the money from your subscription and hope that you wont bot again...
I have a question tough : i downloaded MAD - v1.5.0.zip folder , installed it , opend HB -> BGBuddy then i clicked "Start" . Seems ok till it didn't que , just stood there ...and did nothing . Qued up manually , entered a BG on it's own but when BG started,my druid did nothing. He just stood there afk'ing .Also , what is the difference between developer version and public version? Any help much apreciated
V1.5.0 is really old, u should use atleast v1.5.2. At this moment Developer v1.6.3 is the most stable, I recommend to use that one. @ Difference, developer contains the newest features and bugfixes.
^^ and remember to set "movement" to "true". And keep in mind that BGBuddy is having some problems in HB atm. because of new patches and so.
Yeah the healing is amazing have no issues at all with it but the lag is defs an issue especially on bosses like durumu in tot I've tried 30 tps and lowering settings and it makes no difference at all. Guess ill have to deal with it haha
Yes indeed, though i get more then 30 fps so o can move . I will try to make a mini patched version which removes the priority checks and just heals by health to see if the lag issues are resolved.
First of all I once again want to say how amazing this healing routine is. Doesn't matter if now I'm very well geared because even back in days when my gear was not so good there was rarely healer that can do more then me with MAD. For example my guild doesn't raid ToT still and its focused on 5.1 raids so I have went to find pug for it, while group was established properly more then 10 healers have been changed and none of them could come close. Even after group was properly set and bosses started falling down other two healers (monk and druid) couldn't do more then 60% of what I'm doing, so Mirabis I bow before you But this is not what I wanted to say. I have one question for other MAD users, preferably very active normal/heroic raiders as LFR isn't viable source to see how good this routine performs. My concern is about haste break points and MAD. As we all know or at least should know druid healers can benefit a from hitting higher haste break point in a matter of extra ticks on Wild Growth, Lifebloom... (I also suspect some of people around who are complaining about MAD not performing good have problems exactly because of haste and other stats not optimized) so some time ago I have gone and reforged my gear to hit 21,43% haste but because of fast gear change and change from normal to heroic modes I couldn't really compare results. But at end because of the way MAD is performing aka smart healing trough checking priority, incoming heals etc it will perform as much as it is needed, if fight requires 40k hps it will push 40k hps if it is 70k it will go up to 70k and I love it because of it. More thinking I do more confused I am, maybe we could benefit more from those extra Mastery and Spirit that is sacrificed to hit higher haste break point, in my case it would be around 1700 spirit and 4% mastery up if I go back to lower haste break point. MAD is holding Harmony in almost all cases 100% of the time up and our ticking (heal over time) spells benefit from Harmony trough mastery but on other side if haste is lower then we have less of those ticks. So before I make more confusion simple question would be. Should we aim for higher haste break points when it comes to MAD healing or those extra spirit/mastery is more viable? Some of you will probably think about this "if aint broken dont try to fix it" but point is that all of us would like to take as much as we can from this routine, to be certain we will be up to task anywhere, anytime and in any situation. Shit happens and exactly in those situation where someone fucks up those little more that we can get can mean successively finished fight. I'm sorry if this is written confusing and I know this is not theorycraft thread but I just want to push as much as it is possible from MAD and maybe make some benefit for all of us that are using and love MAD routine.
