Hey there. I've unsubscribed from WoW about 3 month ago. Have been using honorbuddy before for, well, farming honor only. Today i received a mail from Blizzard stating that my Diablo III account is permanently closed for using third party software. Like really? I haven't played Diablo III for 7 month and certainly haven't use any hacks\bots\cheats, 'cause simply had 0 reasons to use any. Seems some kind of HB detection exists. It may have detected HB and banned the first Blizz game in list that it dicovered . Now waiting if any actions will be taken agains WoW account. Btw, Eu realm.
Do you realise what you told? That Blizzard spoofing our connections or something what they usualy dont have permision to do? I dont blame you but that is seriuos accusation. I hope they doing that xD
Did you consider your bnet account got hacked and someone used your D3 to bot or something? I seriously doubt it's related to using HB 3 months ago.
They lock the account whenever the block of IP-adresses from which you are trying to access b-net changes. Since i didn't receive any notifications, i highly doubt anything got hacked. Also, i have SMS-notifications enabled and change passwords every month (paranoid a bit, heh). I wouldn't deny the possibility though. At least it's less scary ^^.
