One way it works pretty good is with 5 of your own bots though. Totally eliminate issues. Still I keep my eye on it for zoning out for repairs, food, sell, etc.
I agree with you but I don't really want blizz seeing 5 of my ips seems sketchy and will easily getcha caught.
HighVoltz, the farm mode is ready to use ?? because i try to use it in BC normal dungeons, and keeps standing at the entrance.. Moving to Instance Portal on foot ...
For farming mode... Did you consider creating your own questing profiles for dungeon farming? It takes about 30 min of time to create one, and with some polishing you can make it 100% afk going for days... I did some solo dungeon farmings, it was much better choice than dungeonbuddy farming mode. Quest behaviours are very powerfull Edit: Highvoltz, can you give us ETA for fixing bugs with not saving tank mode and "Unable to find LfgDungeon for mapId"?
Highvoltz - I don't know what you did to Stratholme - Service Entrance but it is seriously screwed up. Issues are: The tank insists on pulling the entirety of the slaughterhouse courtyard BEFORE killing Magistrate Barthilas. This causes wipes. It also means Ramstein the Gorger spawns while the tank is running back outside to kill Barthilas and the group gets separated by the gate coming down. This causes more wipes. Please, please FIX THIS! Kill Magistrate Barthilas BEFORE heading though the slaughterhouse gate. Check to see if out of combat before moving to next group (or waypoint, or whatever that logic does) in the slaughterhouse courtyard. Pulling the entire group usually = wipe. I've also got an issue where occasionally some of my toons (dps mainly) decide to go on the scenic tour when my tank is heading for Nerub'enkan. They run around the north side of the dungeon (pulling all the mobs) and try to come in through the rat-infested gate. I'm fairly sure this is a nav issue, but why doesn't the rat gate have a great big BLACKSPOT put over it? I have never seen anybody go through that gate in non-botting runs. Ever.
You need to set your role manually the first time around. DB doesn't set that for you. For accepting to join, double check your bot settings. Your tank should have no name in the leader field, all the other bots names in the party field, and be marked as leader. All your other toons need to have the tank's name as leader, nothing in the party field, and be marked as followers. Hope this helps.
bot needs to have priority to kill boss and not adds on scholomance heroic tank and healer needs to not try to target everybody who gets A Harsh Lesson
Would you mind providing one for example, or are any of the public farming ones a good place to start? I'm interested but I have zero experience.
Yes, the only way I knew to multibox...before I started with botting. They are all under the same bnet account, from the same comp, at the same time.
So do you ever run them doing different things? Like one farming, one leveling, one lfr, etc. That was my last concern - anything that didn't look like multi boxing. Thanks for the input!
Yes, I would occasionally have them doing different things. 2 leveling, 1 farming ore, 1 farming leather...etc.
Thank you. Don't the followers need to have other's party members names at the party field if all of them are bots?
Gj thus far with DB! I did not use it for a long time. and I'd have to admit that I was surprised when there actually were scripts for the LFR raids up to the Throne of Thunder. Even tho Throne of Thunder or the Elagon Encounter does not seem to work 100% I think. but then again.. Elagon is a Meshing problem as far as I know. Garalon, does not seem to work 100% either. the bot sometimes stands right infront of the boss as if it was trying to tank it(I am a healer) and it gets hit by the frontal thingy spell. However, the bot is atleast better than the idiots standing UNDER garalon. I was really surpirsed when the character actually avoided almost all the winds like a boss during the Blade Lord encounter in Heart of Fear. Tested as healer classes.
