Please help, been trying to get this to work without success. I have no DailyGrind.xml file, i make one up, and it lets me check whats areas to do, but when i load the DailyGrind.xml file using Questing, it crashes as the file is empty. Confused and in need of help ?
Brodieman, I've had zero issues with the MoP dailies prior to the profile changer. I'm going to do a log from start to finish tomorrow. But I just want to let you know of some of the issues I've seen in running the dailies since you added the profile changer: So you know, I create a new folder and load version .555 of HB. Then I copy the plugins and quest behaviors from a clean folder from a different drive. I get that not in root error upon startup which I think is normal since I haven't set a path yet. I set the path to the Daily Grind location. I enable antidrown, 2 Pandaria plugins, and the questhelper plugin. I select all the dailies that a character can do and save. I load the Daily grind. I delete the cache file and I then start the bot. I turn off ALL addons Golden Lotus: Sometimes my paladin will move two steps at a time all the way to the quest pickup location. It is VERY slow in picking up those quests. It then moves to the quest area. The character then acts VERY BOT LIKE trying to get up the hill to the left of the entryway if the 3 serpent kills are part of the day's dailies. When the character completes those, there is usually a long period of loading tiles - I always point to my Mesh folder which is located off the root directly of C: drive C:\Mesh . It continues to move slowly all the way through the GL quests. During the quest in which you pickup buckets to put out fires, it takes up to a minute after it has collect the buckets before it will throw one. THen, another 30 seconds or more to continue each throw. Tillers: It stood at the flight master for almost 30 minutes with the map open. I had to manually take it to Halfhill. I have one character that needs the pre-reqs, and it didn't do those at all. After those two dailies, it didn't run too bad. But the mechanics are noticably slower in every area. I would have uploaded todays logfile but it is 3mb. I made a smaller .rar file but the webiste apparently doesn't like that file type.
If you don't have a Daily Grind file, then you should update/redownload from the SVN as it is included in there: [Rep] Daily Grind [Brodie].xml its in the TDMoPE Folder.
First, I'm not sure if its the manner of which you typed it out, but never delete the cache folder while HB is open. It must be deleted when closed, then re-run. Golden Lotus: Are you seeing spam from ProfileChanger as you are running the bot? This would make it stop/go/stop/go repeatedly as its trying to swap profiles. "Very Bot Like" is not a very good description of what the bot is doing. That can span from very robotic movements, to very human movements. Even the best profiles look like a bot. Please be more descriptive to the actual behavior, beyond "it looks like a bot". The throwing and picking up of buckets is normal. At least with default settings to the QB used. There is normally a 10-15 second delay, but rather than muck with the QB, I've left it be (stock HB QB). Tillers: Disable "use flight paths". I don't support the use of them. Upload as .zip files if the txt file is too big. However, please don't post snippits of code into a forum post as some have before. Its difficult to read, and makes scanning the forum that much harder.
Normaly just restart HB. But as Brodieman said, you have to check of there are Yellow Quests in your Questlog or somewhere on the Map, you have to this buy Hand.
I downloaded a version of the bot at the moment (Honorbuddy 2.5.6929.555) I deleted all caches wow, to battle.net I installed a routine "ThuankMonk" update I installed the plugins of your profile (Pandaren Pick Farm, CrittersAcheivement, Pandaria Dailies v2 ProfileChanger)+Quest B?haviors. I configured the options "ProfilChanger" I set the path to "Daily Grind" in "ProfileChanger" I configured the bot options (food, mail, etc.) I set the path to "Daily Grind" in HB I started ==> the same problem with the same sentence .................................... .................................... As Brodieman said in some Posts before, use the "InteractivWith" from the HB Release Version, not the new one from Kickz Profile/SVN. Got the same Problems with the new Version, so i downgrade to the Release one and it works so far.
I'm sorry for your frustrations. Again, as I've said before for this particular error: You are using a later version (beta, if you will) of InteractWith. v417 to be exact. HB v555 comes with v372 of InteractWith. The version you are running does NOT come with HB. I provide support for the release version that comes from HB's releases. I have spoken with ChinaJade. He...she...they...............CJ has told me that the issue is being addressed and hopefully will be repaired within the next day. Until then... You can use this.
If I understand correctly, I should deselect the plugin "profilechanger." And manually select the profile that interests me, for example: "[Rep] Cloud Serpent Dailies [Brodie]"??? I'm sorry to not understand everything the first time .....
No... This has NOTHING to do with ProfileChanger. It has to do with InteractWith, which thankfully you have gotten working...
between the time I wrote the post and the time I had the link to the file "InteractWith" conversations have crossed so do not worry I understood that I had to replace the file with the other. And that I did not touch settings "ProfileChanger" and thank you very much "Brodieman" and "Tumbum" since his works much better!
According to the log, you neglected to setup the ProfileChanger plugin. Please visit its settings and define your Daily Grind file's location and profiles which to use.
I opened up plugins, then looked at the profile changer settings. All the dailies I wanted to run were in fact checked. The destination was also where my Daily Grind file is. So what I did, was browse again, I went to the same place, selected it, and then saved it. It ran. But it did in fact have everything there in the first place. Do you have to redo that whenever you change characters even though the settings are there?
For now, yes. I would recommend before running it each time to just confirm settings until all the kinks are ironed out.
Thanks for the bug report. Looks like you have to open the Plug-in and just hit "Save" and it will work fine. Don't worry about browsing to the path. I'll work on getting it fixed.
View attachment 444 2013-04-08 00.33.txt Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open. Keep getting that error message on several sets of dailies I run.
Semi-common Windows error that's telling you something is currently using the config file. Could be the Windows Indexing service or your anti-virus, I've heard of both causing that same error with torrents. If it's happening when you save the settings, you might want to check the permissions on your HB folder.. it's also happening as soon as it tries to use the quest behavior MrFishIt.cs.
