Hi everyone, I thought it's time to give something back to the community so here is my first profile. I was working on levelling my enchanting and realized that Hypnotic Dust is pretty expensive on my server. Also, Embersilk Cloth and Bags sell pretty well, but I couldn't find a decent Dungeon Farm profile to get that stuff. So what this does is farm Lost City on normal on a loop, does not do the last 2 bosses. Run this using the Questing bot base. You get: - Greens/blues to disenchant - Embersilk Cloth - Rep with all Cataclysm factions if you wear the tabard Changes: Added mail / vendor support, although needs some testing. Warning: This profile will sell all Uncommons and Rares in your bags when it goes to vendor, and will mail all your Commons to your alt (if you have one set up). Would really appreciate some feedback and testing. An average run for me takes me about 18 minutes. View attachment [Quest] Lost City Farm v0.5.xml
Hah I'm in the middle of writing this myself when I took a break to look on the forums for a bit. Nice work going to check it out now. Would be good if you can get MOLL-E and mammoth to work inside the instance as on some servers it can be a bit bloody in Uldum.
It works but needs some refining on hotspots to pick up all the trash mobs that are around. Has trouble at times leaving the dungeon to sell/repair/mail. Wouldn't leave it afk as it is, I'm still trying to refine my own profile but this is a rough working one that needs checking on every so often. Best done with a good tank/dps class though.
Thanks for the feedback guys, new version should be out this week. I'm refining the hotspots to hit up all the mobs and also making the toon mount up on the way back to reset. Also adding the MOLL-E and Tundra code so it tries to sell/repair/mail after every run. Could you let me know how long it takes (roughly) to do a full run for you? Teveel - I'll try and add the vendor/mailbox in Ramkahen and see if that works better. I've been leaving it afk for 2-3 hours at a time and using MrItemRemover plugin to weed out the trash and it's been working OK.
I edited the hotspots for my own use but I'll do a couple runs using the original version to show time before, obviously its a bit different due to inefficiencies of original hotspot path and it didn't pick up all trash mobs. Main time savers is making it take a tight path around buildings while not getting caught on anything and tapping all mobs and having it mount up when its efficient to do so.
Much better pathing so far on this first run, I'll report back when I've timed a few runs, ok not sure why its messing up but after completing the first run it's finding itself stuck in a loop of entering and exiting the instance. I'll put a log up in a bit, but I'm going to change a few settings and tweak the profile to work it better.
Thanks Teveel, I'll look into this. I ran this last night till the server went down (about 5 hours) and it worked ok for me. I'll monitor it more closely tonight and see if I can replicate it. Still can't get it to mount up though, even though the hotspots are further apart (and I set mount distance to 1). I even tried to hard code mounting, but perhaps the timer should be changed. I added comments though so hopefully you can change the code around easier.
Yeah thanks for commenting the code makes life so much easier. I'm not sure why its not mounting up, not sure if its some bit of code in HB stopping the bot from mounting while inside instance. Can you give me an idea of what settings you are using as I'm not sure why the 0.2 version keeps trying to loop on me. Going to try again when servers are back up and run on a fresh install.
Ok I've tried to edit the profile but I'm still getting it doing one run before exiting instance then mounting before re-entering and then trying to go to Blacksmith Abasi whilst in the instance and hitting the wall never exiting the instance. Log for the last run before this post: View attachment 2472 2013-04-17 16.46.txt I'm going to edit it for another run completely taking out the custom behaviors and setting vendor. I'm hoping I can at least get it to do several back to back runs before trying to sell/mail anything, at the moment it just wants to go to Blacksmith Abasi after the first run.
If you guys would like some help with this, I will gladly modify it to vendor only when his bags are full or gear broke. I have a profile for this instance already written from about 1 1/2 years ago. First thing you need to add is some ZoneID or MapId conditions to determine where your character is. All the forcemount custombehavios aren't need. HB will auto ground mount if the next hotspot is greater than your mount distance. Below is a few modifications to get you going in the right direction. It should work as is, but I'm not sure as I blind coded it and have not tested it.
Well even being able to vendor/mail @ ramkahen when bags are full or gear is broke would be better than being only able to complete a single run without watching it. I'm now running a new edit which should hopefully work I'll upload in a bit after a quick run. I fixed the vendor and the mailboxes which was broken code before in 0.2 and stripped all custom behaviour out from the hotspots. Testing with a ilvl >450 Blood DK dealing 29k dps using Singular.
Well, I added in some set hearth code, left in the use Emole code, but added in an extra gear/bag slot check to use hearth if the emole doesn't work. The protected items code was using wrong syntax, as well as the avoid mobs. I did nothing to the code inside the instance. So if it was wrong, it is still wrong. I would suggest using some RunLikeHell custom behaviors to pull multiple packs at once if you are running it on a 90.
Ah ok so I'll test Botanist's profile then to see if its Endless. Dam toon still won't mount up inside to save time running around the place.
do you have use mount ticked on? OK, try the one I just uploaded above, I added in UseMount in the usersettings. It should mount in the instance now.
Going to give to give my profile a 2nd run then I'll run yours Botanist but if it mounts properly then I think it will help a lot with getting the run time under 20mins for me at least. Once I know a profile is working right I'll look at sorting a CR to run it more efficiently. At the moment Singular isn't too bad but I'm sure my toon can deal much more dps.
