Obviously i have seen a huge spike in the number of people posting about their bans, i myself had an account banned last Saturday afternoon for being "caught" using the bot. Fortunately i was able to have this ban reverted to a 72h suspension, but i was wondering if there was any confirmation that this is in fact a ban-wave and i should not bot for a couple of days/weeks on my other account?

Honestly, with the amount of bans being posted I'd consider it dangerous enough to not bot for a few weeks until the amount of bans cools off. I'd call this a "semi" ban wave. Is it an actual ban wave? No. We're not all banned right now. But blizzard is catching on and getting super aggressive. They know something we don't. This isn't just a bunch of people getting reported.. this is a detection method, IMO. It's never safe to bot, but right now, it's extremely unsafe.

It seems that if they start a sale on new accounts, fasten your seatbelt, cause you and your bots are going for a ride.
Correlation between these huge clean outs and their sales is eery.

tinfoil hat, etc etc... Facts speak for themselves.

If I had to guess I'd say that they've lowered the required of something to be triggered for an auto ban, such as nodes per hour.

and the timing fits for new accounts but my new accounts aren't banned.
