Greetings fellow botters. Me and my friend began a discussion about his account. He got a 72h suspension and previously he has been suspended for using "bad language". So I said "You need to be careful now, this is your last chance before getting a perm-ban". He replied "I don't think so because in the mail, there is no "final warning"." So my question is, will they perm-ban him the third time or will he first recieve a final warning? Sincerely, C. (Didn't know where to post this, so I just went ahead and posted it here in the ban section).
Yea you get perma banned now on your first offence no priors no nada ... only one they will over turn is a 72 hour that is for being logged into long i have found.
Yah, I've read that but I've also read that you have three warnings. 1. Bad language 2. Botting 3. Final warning 4. Perm-banned. He said. Not sure though.
Really? He said that he had been online and botting almost every night since sunday the 21th to friday the 26th. So that might be the thing. He sent me the mail Blizzard sent him. BLIZZARD'S MAIL Account Name: XXXXXXXXX Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks") This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behaviour is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Impact of Buying Gold - Shop - World of Warcraft The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure. what I was talking about was being online for to long 24h + i caught a 72 on a brand new account that was at like lv 40 something using kicks and dungen que's mainly and then when i went to org to sell stuff i went to bed and left my toon thinking it would auto log but i had my mail open ( my woman was wanting sex) so in the morning i seen it was still online so i was like >_< crap ... so i logged out for a hour and when i tried to log in i caught a 72. Got the exact same Email you got and quickly hit up a gm and said What the hell , i was questing and doing dungens and went to org and it didn't log me out when i went afk and now im banned.. it was quickly unbanned and i got the auto ... were sorry this have been over turned , our system is rarely wrong but in some cases it is bla bla bla ... I feel lucky but still ... Normally i wouldn't appeal a 72 h but I knew what was up and not saying anything is kinda like pleading no contest in a way ya know... just depends on how bad you were and if you really want a GM looking at your play logs.
Here u can see, how dangerous women are for Botters! The most risky form of botting is to start HB, with a girl behind! Lost 2 Accounts permanent, without any kind of warning or punishment before. Maybe in the early days, Blizzard?s Penalty?s were cumulative . But rather not nowadays! If it hits you, than it hits you.
So, if he was to be banned again for the same reason, is it permanent then? or does he recieve a "final warning"? I've also read that you get a 72h suspension by player reports.
